*SG: ipon muna ulit ako, ubos pera ko sa detailing!
*renzo: paretrofit kay sir garyq ng projectors no? hehe. ganda sana nun!
just got my Philips XP today from Roadstar sa Karport (FORT). Got it for P2K kasama na installation sa Civic ko.
Mas mababa than the P2.3K going rate sa BLADE. And while P1.7K lang sa Perfect Circle (Banawe), nabawi ko na rin naman yung additional P300 dahil very accessible yung Roadstar sa akin (15min away), plus wala pang traffic dahil Sunday ko sya nakuha :2thumbsup:
Meron din silang OSRAM Nightbreaker for P1.3K
I'm hunting for a set of good bulbs para sa Trooper namin, in whose headlights it seems no bulb has ever performed nicely.I'm rather interested in this one, just waiting for the old bulbs to bust ("Super White" tawag dun, forgot the brand), the old bulbs give just below average lighting (for me, at least) and gives even poorer throw in bad weather conditions, I would sometimes fail to see the potholes at night as well. To those who bought, especially Trooper owners, has this been a good purchase? For headlight bulbs it is rather expensive considering that the bulbs we buy usually cost just around 200+ to 300+ per pair.
^^^XPB is closer to OEM lights in terms of color, hence it has better penetration during adverse weather conditions.
yes, the bulbs we're talking about here cost 1k-2k per pair.
if you really want something for heavy rain and light fog... all-weathers are the way to go. Used to have them in our ranger. it's very yellow, but it did its job well
I see, any suggestions as to which store sells it at a lower price? We live in the Sta Mesa Area in QC near Retiro/Banawe area so stores in Banawe are more preferable. Thanks!
* SG (and dikdik na rin) their contact #s are 816-0585 to 86 - Look for Melody pag twag mo. Then, look for Boboy pag nagpakabit kayo ng Philips XP bulbs.
I'm not sure if they do headlight alignment, sir...I didn't have the time during that Sunday na rin to check and have it done kung sakali.
After 2 weeks of use, I am quite satisfied with my XP (different weather and road conditions use)![]()
where can i get XP HB4/9006? what shops in banawe carry them? how much?
need it asap.
OT: philips premium bulbs sucks.maling bili pa! bwisit.
i bought my Philips XP for less than 2k earlier at roadstar fort..dami kasing nagrecommend..the thing is, before i bought one, wala nang low beam yung headlights ko, and after replacing it with XPs,wala pa rin..high beam/bright lang ang meron..sabi ni manong they have to check something sa may likod ng steering wheel..unfortunately, i was in a hurry earlier and i wont be back in manila til sunday..balik na lang ako..but would any of you know what may have caused the problem? btw, i drive a honda city 03 model ..tia tsikoteers![]()
It must be the (logic) switch mounted on your steering wheel or the relay to your headlights.... In any case, it should be minimal,- less than P500, including service....
10.3K:sumo:
