Pero assuming 60 months to pay yan, interest = (MA x 60) - amount financed. Interest rate = (interest / amount financed) x 100
Thank you for this info sir peejay_07. This is very simple and very informative.

This is exactly what i want.

Perfect! Now i've got the exact figure. Sakto! Mahina kasi ako sa Music eh hehehe.

    Salamat po.

People should realize that forums use hardware and these are not free. Filling up the database with senseless data consumes valuable space. Some people are too lazy to do their homework, the internet is filled with information. People should research first before asking the same questions over and over again, questions whose answers can usually be found online.

The 25.55% total interest for 60 months is okay already.
When I inquired before the average 60 months total interest I got was 26-28%

Hi! newbie here. i am planning to buy a Ford Focus and nag inquire ako sa in-house financing nila about the low dp, all in promo nila. After getting the information needed, several banks called and interviewed me. Na approve na ako ng bank and eto yun rate na binigay nila.

    Unit price: 935k
    DP: 57k
Monthly Amortization: 18k for 60 months
Free 1st year insurance, LTO registration for 3 years, chattel mortgage and yun tint, matting, etc.

Ang question ko mga sir e ito:

    1. is this a good deal? or is there something na hindi ko alam na hindi sinasabi ng SA ko?
    2. Lahat ba ng in-house financing pinapasa lang din sa mga tie-up na banks? what is the difference if i go directly to the bank?

    Thanks mga sir! =)

Sir, hope it's not too late. Sobrang taas ng interest nyan halos 45%. I went bank hopping kanina and BPI gave me 25%. PSbank might try to match basta open lang ako ng savings account sa manila. Went also to BPI family and they can bring it down to 24.95%.

Lumalabas sir around 24.97% ang total interest nyo for 5 years...
Not bad, one of the lowest na po yan kasi ang average ngayon nang 5-year car loan is 25-26%

Sir how did you come up sa 45%? Based sa computation ko 23% lang which is mababa considering na in house at ang dami pang freebies. My computation is like this:

    Loan Amount = 935k - 57k = 878k

    Interest = (18k * 60) - 878k = 202k

    Interest rate = ( 202k / 878k ) * 100 = 23%

Sorry di ko napansi na 57k lang ang downpayment kaya it appears expensive. If 20% kse, monthly amortization would be around 15k for 60 months.

Around 45 pecent interest rate nga siya because you still compute for the monthly amortization basing sa 80% loanable amount.

    Unit price x .8 = a -- (a x 1.45) / 60 = around 18k.

That being said, magandang deal na ito for an allin package since mababa down na binigay sayo. You should be paying around 15.5k/month lang pag bank loan but cause of the additional discount and free insurance, cmf and lto that you have to pay for pag bank loan, parang mas malaki savings sa allin package. good deal na yan and you get priority since inhouse. Noticing competitive na ang all-in rates ng dealers sa bank loan rate ah compared to years back na malaki ang difference. Good for us!

Thanks for confirming mga sir. I asked also a friend of mine who works car loan sa bank. Khit cya nagulat sa baba ng rate. It is an advantage kasi all banks come to you. Then you just wait for the lowest one. Iba iba rin pla binibigay na rate. Yun SA ko kumausap sa bank to give me etong rate na 'to. Disadvantage lang is laki ng monthly. And mababa re-sale value ng focus. Hehe. I guess thats another topic.

this is a good deal. assuming that there is no discount. you need to sum up the interest and the supposed discount to get your interest rate

lowest auto loan rate
