There were dozens of small-time inventors working on gliders along the same principle as the Wright's before the brothers, and there were a number of powered flights before the Wrights... mostly balloons, but there were at least three or four different teams who had heavier-than-air powered aircraft at the same time as the Wrights. The difference is: the Wrights had a camera.

There are similarities, yes... a lot of people are "working" on the water-powered car... but a lot of bogus claims regarding water-combustion point to the fact that succh a vehicle is quite a loooong ways away from reality.

i think na advertise na sa AXN channel to before (yung hydrogen + oxygen) concept ng honda but that was year ago na... i dunno kung si dingel ang may concept nun o kung kinuha ng honda sa kanya or a research talaga ng honda...

Hydrogen + Oxygen is simple. It works. It's used in aerospace and other industries.

The difference is how you get the Hydrogen. Electrolysis is a power-hungry process. People always go "ooh" and "aah" when they're shown that you can use water to fuel combustion... *yawn* old news... what people hardly ever think to ask is how much energy you use to break up that water so it can burn. ;)

Hi Guys I have done some research on viability of water as a fuel. Some people are into this already and with the current gas price it is a pain at the pump already. I have research some of the ways on how to add HHO booster to a car and hoping to implement it in my car. Anyway here some good links and guidance on actual setup:

    1. From mindstrain.com. - 49. 7 better mileage result with step by step ebook (PDF) illustration and how to guide. Plus includes videos.

    2. Fuel-Saver.org forum - Great forum on mods and HHO installation with actual real world setup. Some have even get a whooping 89MPG in their setup. Check it out.

I hope the above link helps

Ever notice people that post stuff about this only have 1 or 2 post, and that site is about as scientific as a hight school in hati when it comes to any real evidence, other than just claims of mpg increases, Unless you have the means of pulling fuel you cannot save gas, that silly little device they have has nothing to do with how the ECU in a vehicle operates, And for sure cannot control how your vehicle pulls fuel in a OBD-II vehicle, I laughed when

I saw they had GM vehicles on there and sell a device that pulls fuel by supposedly fooling the O2 sensor, Guess what guys you have to use th MAFF sensor which operates in hz on those vehicles not voltage to add and pull fuel. And unless you have a MAF translator or similar device your not doing anything. And your sure not changing the IPW from the computer.

Anouther scam site to get people to buy this stuff, There are many computer data loggers and in car piggy backs that measure how much fuel is being used you can even use one to record a vehicle that has the in car mpg meter in it. NOt one of these jokers has done any of these and seem to be completely ignorant that those things are already out to. And how they work to adjust fuel and timing.

I always get a kick out of those sites and the people on them he actually posted a site with a link with your favorite con man Mr. Dingle LOL you can read about that piece of work here

ok, go ahead and put water in your fuel tank and get back with us on the results.

Actually the differences between the Wright brothers and other pioneers who made heavier-than-air machines were:

    1) the Wright brothers discovered and mastered how to control their flying machine. Other machines had difficulty turning and were capable only of lift and thrust. It was erroneously thought that aircraft should be steered by rudder like a boat. The Wright brothers' flyer (and all airplanes today) turned using its wings.

    2) the Wright bothers didn't want to publicize their invention until they had a patent and a contract because their competitors might steal their ideas. This may seem audacious, but the contract requires that the Wright brothers prove that their machine works.

After the U.S. Army (wala pang Air Force noon) and a French syndicate awarded the Wrights a contract, they began making public demonstrations of their machine. The French were skeptical (they thought that their Santos-Dumont was the first to fly). But they were stunned when the Wright brothers showed their mastery of flight when Wilbur Wright flew publicly in France. Sabi ng mga French aeronauts after seeing Wilbur fly in his machine: "We are like children".

    ------------------------------

So those who claim to have invented a water-powered car should ask for a contract which depends upon a successful demonstration of their invention.
And those who believe in this invention (beginning with Pimentel) should form a corporation, give these inventors a contract and market the device (if it works).

The energy requirement in breaking water molecule is the major issue that must addressed, it works no doubt about that. Imagine if the energy requirement issue is solved...

But that is if one can get a decent funding for the research.

According to some who tried flying Wright Flyer replicas, those machines were squirrely and hard to control. And that the Wright brothers were perhaps fortunate to even get off the ground and survive.

    Anyway, back to water.

You can use water in the combustion chamber to control pre-detonation. Water injection was used in massive radial engines that used compound turbo-superchargers for brief period of time (i.e. take-offs).
