The only reference I could provide you is that my average speed of 15 kph since June 1 (this year) gets me from Cainta to QC and vice versa.

My travel time is within the range of 1 hour and 20 mins to 1 hour and 50 mins (depends on daily traffic situations). Total distance per round trip is around 42 to 45 kilometers.

Since June 1, my average fuel consumption is 9.29 km/l

Oh yes, for sure! I complain about traffic that translates to 15 kph (average), so I consider 13 kph very bad traffic already Your 9.2 km/l is great, actually!

The traffic I've been through since the classes in Ateneo and in Miriam resumed (I think) was so bad... so bad that I barely made it to the 9 km/l-mark.

A couple more thoughts...

- My average speed remained "fast" at 15 kph even if I felt I was stuck longer in terrible traffic in the 9 work days I used my Altis.
- My MID's km/l reading was still 9.5! I saw it at 9.4 km/l for the longest time. It just increased my MID - Full Tank Method variance.

Look at that number - 5.3L / 100 km. To convert that to km/L, just divide 100 by 5.3, which is equivalent to 18.8 km/L.

The old one, G variant (A/T)

I had it at 19.6, actually, but it was so difficult to sustain (no cruise control). Traffic slowed down at that point (Alabang) that's why I noted the 19.4 already.

I was looking for its sweet spot. I would say between 60 to 70 kph. Any faster than that automatically increases fuel consumption.

I was so close to 20.0! I haven't tried it with my Altis and Forester, though. Nanghihinayang akong mag-reset ng MID

Yes, 4.86 km/L is correct.

Better to reset the MID every time you fill up your tank so that you can compare your manual computation with the MID's computation.

9 km/L or 9 km/h? Could be your average speed.

This is a gas Innova right? With an average speed of 9 kph (very heavy traffic), 4.86 km/L is about right.

Got 5km/l on the diesel innova in the city. Is it because of the 3k kms shifting and short distances use?

Parang sluggish ng d4d ng Innova driver kasi mostly nag dadrive nito kaya di ko masyado kabisado saka sa overtaking parang kulang minsan
