    2008 Isuzu D-max 3.0 Ddi-iTEQ (with Racechip Pro 2 at C-C setting)

11.2 to 11.4 km per litre in Metro Manila driving
16.4 to 17.0 km per litre in freeways at average speeds around 85 to 110 kph. Plus 20 km per litre at 75kph to 80kph in freeways.
13.4 km per litre going up to Baguio along Marcos Highway at speeds. Engine rpm at 4th gear hillclimb 2000 to 2250 rpm approx. Downshifting to 3rd in tight hairpins or switchbacks.
17.1 km per litre in long but relatively flat provincial roads with intermittent towns in between....

    Manual transmission

    2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7 V6 MFI

8.5 to 10 km per litre combined city-and-off city driving in overseas....

    Manual-transmission

    2011 Innova 2.5 D-4D M/T

Almost the same consumption as the D-max in relatively flat roads, but not in long and breezing hillclimbs; Consumes a bit way more than the D-max.

    Manual transmission

9.8 km/L (23 miles/gal) for combined city, highway, and freeway driving. Speeds range from 45 mph (city) to 80 mph (freeway).

Around here, most motorists are very frisky whenever they're up front on a stoplight. So am I. Forget fuel consumption.

I can probably get it to better than 10 km/L if I drove like a grandma.....not gonna happen. Maybe when I'm 80 years old.

    2006 Sonata 3.3L V6.

*Oh. I'm already over 171,000 miles (275,000 km). Heading for the 200,000 mile mark.....*
