January 20th, 2006 12:50 AM #41Just checked my KM/L reading for the past 2 weeks.. I'm doing 7.5km/L now!!
TIPS:
-relax while driving, no use flooring it coz it'll get you to your destination about 5-10 minutes earlier -- and at the cost of a few hundred bucks in gasoline hehe.
-choose the middle lane in EDSA (2nd or 3rd from the island) and stick to that lane the whole time-- avoid the urge to overtake
-lastly, be conscious about your speed, ease off the gas when you're hitting 100kph.. i try to go max of 80 kph even with an open road ahead of me (again, this is linked to item 1)
Hope this helps! just sharing, and btw, i get home with a cooler head too

i can only manage a best of 6-ish km/L. naka-hold pa yung a/t mode ko nun.
or patigasin ko pa kaya yung gas pedal para mas mahirap apakan? hahahaha!!!
