    garyq,

the gen 2.5 i wrote down refers to the "generation" of my 99 pajero.

gen 1 - first generation (1988 - 1993/4 model here in pinas I think), box type/bubble top came with 4d56 NA and 4d56T engines
    gen 2 - 2nd generation (1994/5 - 1998), came with 4d56T engines
    gen 2.5 - 2nd and a half generation (1998/9 - 2003), came with 4m40TDIC engine, blister fender body

i've edited my earlier post to make it less confusing.

    thanks.

guys take note, medyo modified pa makina ni Alfred sa lagay naka PnP yun.

Black is Beautiful 2.5TDIC Manual w/ washer mod =
    8 to 9 km/L

    Bukol bukol 4X4 2835cc TDIC AT w/ washer mod = 6.8 to 7.5 km/L

both figures 90% City 10% highway.

Gary, another Pajero owner in the making?

totoo yan. what i do is, i buy a carbouy and then have the boys at the house transfer to my 1 liter containers lying around the garage. i always keep one liter in the rear of the pajero. naka ziplock bag pa, just to be sure no odor comes into the cab.

when i fill up with diesel, it is always 50 liters, so yung 1 liter is 2%, tamang-tama
