dahil dito ako sa probinsya, mababa daw ang 8 to 9 kms/liter, according to a friend of mine. dapat nasa 10 to 12 daw ako.

on my 97 TDIC, i get about 7.5 km/l all city driving and with general grabber M/T tires (the ones with the really large teeth and go plok plok on the roads). after my bridgestone desert duelers, nag general ako kasi walang bridgestones available then

and by city, i mean cebu city where the speeds are really slow and the distances really near. i think i got about 8 to 8.5 km/l on my cross island trips (from cebu to bacolod) but the mileage also suffers due to the uphill climbs on the transcentral highway in cebu and the uphill curves from san carlos city to cadiz city in negros occidental

pa tune up mo kaya. i religiously changed my oil every 5K and my mechanic (a mitsu and nissan mechanic having worked in both mitsu and nissan dealers) was the one who changed the oil, adjust the valves and bled the injectors every 5K

complain ko lang talaga is no matter how well i take care of the engine, may black smoke talaga. this is where i admire the nissan diesel engines. minsan kasunod ko ang patrol safari sa uphill, walang usok. sa akin, buga ng buga

I would agree. My Gen 1 averages about 7.5km/liter in the City and anywhere between 9-10km/liter on the Highway. My Gen 2.5 consumes just a tad higher.

I would recommend that you change oil every 5,000km. Also have your nozzle tips checked/cleaned/replaced.

bro -- gladly kaya lang ang problema ay based siya sa cebu. right now, since nag "defect" na ako sa nissan, he recommended me to his friends at nissan north edsa kaya doon na ako nag papa service.

wala na ata siyang contact sa mitsu dito kasi he used to come from mitsu cebu and then transferred to nissan cebu. but he remained very knowledgeable on both vehicles

ung sakin GEN2 2.5TDIC 97' 5.5 kilometer per liter.. no aircon yan.. lakas sa krudo! probably needs some fixin.. 90% city.

afaik the mini uses a 1.6L gas engine.

mini uses 660 cc, jr or pajero io uses 1.6 & 1.8

mine is a 96 2.5 TDIC Manual, washer mod, K&N filter and free-flow muffler. Purely city driving- 6-7 km/L. Planning to add biodiesel soon.

I average about 5-6km/L city.. haven't had the time to check highway rates-- i always forget to check after a long trip

111: Bro yung mga patrol normal aspirated yun. 4.2 L engines yun, i.e hindi underpowered. Turbo kasi, especially sa diesel will have that tendency to belch smoke. you should see isuzu diesels, he.he.he. iba hatak ng malaki na n/a na motor but then diesel consumption of these motors is another story. di naman coz I sell BD but it will really reduce black smoke. (opaque smoke). Tested it on my Trooper Bighorn. Emission testing before and after BD5. More than 50% reduction sa opacity meter ( think I still have the print out). was there when they did the testing (6 testings, different rpms). All of the available BD's will do this for you. (guys, di ba advertising ito? he.he)

grabe nakakainggit yung mga km/liter nyo ako 3.5-4.5 km/liter city driving, 6g74 mivec though :evillaugh: saka tanggap ko na din, kaya oks lang, still havent tested sa highway driving
