OT: after i filled GOLD at caltex slex sta. rosa at 42.70 yesterday, I just learned na may 10% ethanol blend na rin ang GOLD.

kung sa caltex malamang lahat ay e10 based na kung may mga stations na puro e10 ang binebenta. Since imported na ang caltex like the small players, mas malaki ang chance na puro e10 nalang ang iimport nila to save on storage cost. ex. e10 silver, e10 gold. Pero kung may pure gas na gold, additional storage pa ang kailangan. Malalaman niyo naman kung e10 na eh yung sa amoy ng exhaust plus mas madaling maubos compare sa pure gasoline, pati yung idle ng makina parang nag-iiba at sa hatak. Or maybe its just me, based sa observation ko sa alto ko.

ramdam ko pag E10 ang kinarga ko, humihina ang hatak. 3K na ang rpm pero parang ayaw mag accelerate. Kaya alam ko kung E10 or not ang nabili kong gas.

Sa caltex sa wm sta rosa, hindi pa E10 as of monday this week.

Have them converted to Auto-LPG with the venturi type kit.

I read in the newspaper yesterday that the DOE okayed the weekly price adjustment for gasoline & diesel.

So, are you guys and wallets ready for another round of weekly price increases?

actually meron annoucements through the news channels (like tv and newpaper) but it's not major news anymore so it's not placed on the headline.

Siguro dapat at least 24 hours before the planned price change. Itong last round, parang 3 hours before the price increase nabalita sa AM radio. Shell lang ang narinig ko na mayroong annoucement. Buti na lang I was running at 1/8 tank. tamang tama for a full tank before going home.

I am still trying to convince my wife to convert the avanza to LPG. kaso nasa utak nya ay sumasabog ito kaya delikado. donut/toroid tank naman kako so nasala bas hindi sa loob. matagal na ligawan pa ito.

any way taga laguna kami at ang pinaka malapit na may LPG ay alabang pa.

I get 12+ km per liter sa avanza J, mixed city and hi-way.
