hi guys.. pde bang i convert ang diesel engine to lpg? mga how much kaya? same lang ang performance at consumption nya? tia..

There is a conversion system for diesel but it requires that LPG just to offset the use of diesel. So the engine will use diesel & LPG at the same time. Performance is increased, emissions much cleaner and overall fuel cost will go down.

I was reviewing the LPG conversion thread and I saw that back in Oct 2005, the price difference between gasoline & LPG was 25%. In August 2006, it was 30%. In April 2008, the price difference was 40%.

Can you imagine what the price differential might be by next year?

Back in 2006:
open loop mixer LPG kit = P28K
SGI-LPG kits = P52K to P58K

Today in 2008:
open loop mixer LPG kit = P22K to P25K
SGI-LPG kits = P39K to P40K

Note that the prices are from the available reputable auto-LPG installers then and now.

Quality now is the same or better especially for the mixer type kits, you can have some degree of automatic function where before it was a fully manual switchover operation.

with the 40% price difference between lpg and gas, together with the the price drop of lpg kits, i believe this is a good time to have a conversion.. who knows, baka by next year nasa 50% na or more yung magiging price diff between lpg and gas.

ask ko lang po. ano oras po ba maganda magpakarga ng lpg? sabi kasi ng installer ko na sa hapon daw para mainit , wag daw sa gabi. based daw kasi sa experience nila mas malayo daw ang nararating ng mga taxi pag hapon sila nagpapakarga vs sa gabi. how true po ba ito?

I'm sorry is the emulator sys. the closed loop or SGI? How much did it cost? The V6 was EFI right?

Di parang alcohol injection ang effect nito? Mas mura yata yung Devilsown system, kesa sa diesel-LPG kit. P12k lang yata yung Devilsown, and yung Infinity is P50k ++.

Simple science. Colder items take less volume and become more dense. So if you fill up when it's cold, you get slightly more than when it's hot or warm. It works the same with gasoline as well with diesel, LPG, etc.
