No offense taken tanoshi. I just felt that you were eliminating some installers prematurely. Are you seriously considering conversion? What's your ride? Baka meron nang tried-and-tested installer for your car's make and model.

Hey guys, I'm withdrawing from selling my sgi kit. Tried to explain to my uncle that we have to be as practical as possible so I have to turn down his offer (since an SUV is more expensive to own).

He understood and instead will sell his SUV and give me half of the proceeds...hehe. (parang donation).

I get to keep my cookin Altis...haha.

Baka-ibalik ko next week, just to increase the idling settings of LPG (mga +100-200 rpm). Sigurado tataas consumption, but hopefully will offset the rough idle.

kanina lang ako nagpunta sa EROOM for the CEL issues to be solved...ngayon ok na wala na yung CEL...nagdagdag ng isa pang emulator and eureka, wala na yung CEL hehehe ok na ok pa yung takbo...pero di sa Coolmate sa makati, dun ako nagpunta sa EROOM sa Highway54 (katapat ng megamall), katabi nila yung DTI ofc sa Highway54. Tumawag kasi ako this morning kay mike about dun nga sa CEL, sabi nya dun na lang ako sa Highway54 magpunta. Si David Do (Korean Rep./Engr of EROOM Korea) ang nag install hehehe the good thing about it is that it's free, yung emulator wala na akong binayaran considering na that is something extra added to the original kit na...and here's my gift for you bro , i've told him about your problem on your VX200, the rough idling and engine turning off at sudden stop, and he told me to tell you that you can visit him there at Highway54 anytime and he's more than willing to attend to your problem and eventually solving it. Here's his contact details nga pala for you to call first for appointment...

Hey paolorenzo, ive experienced tope/nginig ng makina lately from idle to start up. Namatayan ako. Last time ngkakaganyan kz i thought its because i switch my aircon on and off. I brought it to mike. Indi na nya muna kinalibrate but iwasan ko na lng i-on/off ang aircon.

Kya lng ganon pa din sya, my mga times na namamatayan ako specially from idle, naka neutral ako then switch to drive. Any luck with ur revo? I'll be bringing it back to mike for tuning.

Sorry for being a party pooper. It's just that the last 3 posts simply added a name to the list-- and nothing about lpg conversion.

Isn't this thread about LPG conversion and how to distill info from experiences of installers and users?

    What with the list?

paolorenzo is going through hell with his conversion.
Shouldn't every one be more concerned with finding solutions to his predicament?

I brought up accreditation issue. bigMIKE was the only one who responded.

Isn't the roll call exclusivist? I suggest creation of Club Lpg or LPG Club thread or whatever for this social exchanges.

108 pages. That's how far this thread has gone.

It has drawn interest. It has been relevant.

The public, like myself, was drawn to it because of the information it offered. Thus it's popularity.

Let's not allow this to be an LPG barkada hub nor a self-congratulatory portal.

Autogas conversion is still a long drive through a mine field.

Let's help each other through it.

It's ok to long for a pit stop to eyeball.

But hopefully in a thread dedicated for such-- not in this thread, okey? Thanks

about the accreditation...a while ago on my way home (about 9pm), while i was listening to 89.1, the DJs were discussing about the alternative fuel. They have a DTI representative discussing with them. The DTI representative have said that one of the reason why some (or most) of the LPG conversion companies are not accredited is that they are not complying to some of their (DTI's) conditions such as the tank should not be inside the passenger cabin (the tank of my LPG kit is at the back of my ride since my ride [mitsu adv] has no compartment), meaning if our ride has no compartment, the DTI is suggesting us to use our spare tire space and use the torroidal tank or put the tank on the car roof (now who would want their roof having an LPG tank?). And soon, the LTO will include the checking of LPG conversion upon registration renewal (ok lang pwede naman non-appearance hehehe). That's why they adviced the LPG kit users to ask for the xerox copy of the DTI accreditation of the LPG Conversion Company. About sa quality ng LPG kits, whether it is turkish, italian, korean, etc. the kits passed naman daw on their country's standard in which nauna sa atin magkaron ng standard and we (Philippiness) just adopted their stantards. And besides, that's international standard.

The DTI should be aware that even the trunk of the car is still connected to the main cabin of a car via air vents through the deck under the rear window. And it is kinda stupid to recommend the tank to be installed on the roof a car where it is in a more dangerous position because the sheet metal there was never designed to carry a heavy mass, much less, designed to restrain a heavy mass in case of vehicular impact. The chassis is a better structure to install restraints to prevent the tank from moving in case of vehicular impact/collision.

As for the LTO implementing some sort of checking, it was a matter of time I guess but I wonder what would be the LTO criteria when checking LPG systems? Would it be as useless as checking for "early warning device"? Will they be looking for the certificate of installation from the installer?

Or is it a case of some DTI official shooting off his/her mouth like a big number of senators and congressmen?

Alam kong uubrang kabitan yung ride ko kasi kamag anak yun ng 1.3CVT City ni GH, a 1.5CVT Jazz kaya swak na swak ang SGi pero 17 months under warranty pa sya. Laying all cards on the table, I'm contemplating to sell my dear Carb-type pristine conditioned 95' Charade & buy a 2nd hand car compatible for SGi kit.
I live in QC, was considering to visit the one in Mindanao Ave kasi mas malapit pero based sa nababasa ko dito eh parang mas gusto ko yung conversion shop sa Mandaluyong, not because the other was inferior, but because of testimonies here & our "LPG priest" had one or more of his ride converted there. :D
