im still not getting the big savings sa honda civic 96 namen.
pero on our honda crv gen 1. im getting almost the same lpg milleage as the civic. i thnk its 4.6km/l. from the usual 5.5km/l on petrol. dito may savings.

both have 40L capacity donut tanks. im not so sure if they have the same kits... coz they have different swithces.

Don't judge your fuel consumption based on your LED fuel level meter because it is adjustable. Refill first and compute your FC figures from there.

    my hiway FC is 5.8km/l.

on petrol. my citry FC is 8km/l.
Try dropping by at SPEEDLAB and ask Ferman to tune your car's lpg system. I think you'll be satisfied with the results.

You would be looking at least P2500 just for tuning labor charge.

The mechanical fuel level gauge located on the tank is more "accurate" but it does get stuck once in a while and requires a tap or two to make it unstick.

    BigMike,

I dropped by your shop to check out my APV.

Is there a limit in the tube length from the tank to the fuel intake? I was having this idea of putting the fuel intake somewhere up front...in the hood.

how do they tune up? electronically with computers or manually ala hit or miss with careful listening to the tune of the engine?

The engine's in the mid section, under the front seats. May not be a good idea after all.

I went to an lpg installer yesterday... it's funny how they didn't mention about the O2 sensor when they discuss their SGI kit. when I mentioned about it (and that my 94 Corolla EFI doesn't have one), they just said that they successfully installed SGI kits to cars without O2 sensors...

    of course it's possible duh.

great thing sir GH and others here are impartial on discussing various lpg kits.

SPEEDLAB has electronic diagnostic tools (including a dyno if needed) to help measure and calibrate your car.

Speedlab is a professional performance tuning shop which does a lot of it's own in-house upgrade kits including intake/exhaust and turbo kits.

i'll be having my car fitted w/ a lpg kit once my car gets out of the shop. pinapapinturahan ko pa kasi. i'll have it converted at green autogas para malapit. probably 2nd or 3rd week of aug. excited na nga ako eh.

my car has a 1.6L carb engine. may mga requirements ba regarding engine condition? may kalumaan na kasi car ko and the engine is somewhat in good condition. may maliit lang na oil leak na di makita kung san galing. any feedbacks regarding green autogas?

having the conversion shop nearby is handy especially if you have to go back to have your auto-lpg kit re-tuned.

Generally just make sure your sparkplugs are fresh or new and you have a fresh or new air filter as well. As of the oil leak, as long as it's just a small leak, it shouldn't be a problem. I just hope your engine has no running problems like idling, stalling, etc.

    any feedbacks regarding green autogas?
I think those who have converted with them are pretty satisfied. You can check who converted with green autogas from the LPG Roll-Call thread.

thanks for the reply ghosthunter. just had the car serviced for a tune up and oil change bago ko pinasok para sa paint. no problems naman. just hope the paint guys dont do something to the engine. will replace the air filter just to make sure. thanks for the advice. hopefully i can share my lpg experience soon. if weather permits, my car will be finished this week and by next week i can have my car fitted w/ a kit.

    Guys,

Has anyone here tried installing a mixer-type open-loop system (for EFI) from Greenautogas? Or puro SGI type lang product line nila?

    Thanks.

Any feedback regarding Macro LPG? Last time I knew, they're at par (hopefully not at the bottom) with NAIDSS. I'd like to know if things have changed since then.
