Given similar circumstances, a 1.5 engine would also have wear and tear, mechanical losses, etc. Quite normal, in the same way I cannot expect my 1988 W124 300E to drive and feel like a new car.

Yes, but imagine how much would be left of your 85hp? And how much burden that would incur your engine and hurt your fc? I'd be happy I started with 107hp :-P

Exactly how much? Do you have a mathematical formula for that?

My point is, 1.5L will still retain more of its HP hauling the same weight as 1.3L models.

    I assume that you will pay P80K more for a 1.5G A/T vs. a 1.3G A/T...

    Assuming a 1.5G is doing 12Km/L and a 1.3G 10KM/L and current gasoline prices is at P52/L

Then, ROI on liters of petrol saved is about 93000Km if you're buying 1.5G A/T (vs. a 1.3G A/T)...

If you're doing only 15Km/yr - then it will be 6.2years...

    These are the numbers, Sis.CFY...

BTW,- get the A/T variant. They are convenient and (now) very reliable.

    We have both 1.3G A/T and 1.5G A/T.

Wow 18.1 km/l sa 1.5 G. I honestly had no idea na ganyan katipid ang Vios until this thread. Mas lalo pa kung Manual...

Bakit maganda ata yung gauge (blue), stock yan?

Standard yun ganyang gauge sa 1.5G

Ganyan katipid yung 1.5G kung pure highway driving. Pag city driving worst na siguro 8km/L to 9km/L.
