My point is, 1.5L will still retain more of its HP hauling the same weight as 1.3L models.

I assume that you will pay P80K more for a 1.5G A/T vs. a 1.3G A/T...
Assuming a 1.5G is doing 12Km/L and a 1.3G 10KM/L and current gasoline prices is at P52/L
Then, ROI on liters of petrol saved is about 93000Km if you're buying 1.5G A/T (vs. a 1.3G A/T)...
If you're doing only 15Km/yr - then it will be 6.2years...
These are the numbers, Sis.CFY...
BTW,- get the A/T variant. They are convenient and (now) very reliable.

We have both 1.3G A/T and 1.5G A/T.
Yung 1.3G consistent na 11.3km/L ang average FC (pure city driving, Shell FuelSave unleaded)
Yung 1.5G halos ganun lang din. Hindi kasi masyado ginagamit sa city, puro highway kaya ganito average FC niya
Mas gusto ko lang gamitin yung 1.5G kasi mas malakas yung makina tsaka yung brakes. Ramdam mo ang difference pag rear disc brakes vs rear drum brakes.

Wow 18.1 km/l sa 1.5 G. I honestly had no idea na ganyan katipid ang Vios until this thread. Mas lalo pa kung Manual...
Bakit maganda ata yung gauge (blue), stock yan?
