I totally agree. Every a/t vehicle should have one. Not only have my jumper cables helped me on several occassions, I also have assisted many distressed motorists in their difficult situation.

I suggest to double check the atf requirement ng vios mo..

2010 1.3E A/T mixed highway and city driving 12 kms/litre, as per my latest computation (I do this every tank top up). Highway driving gets 18-19 kms/litre, 80-100 kph, with occasional bursts up to 130 kph. Worst mileage I got was 17 to a litre, drove like a maniac then. Car can attain 160 kph easily, and maybe more. But with a small car like the Vios, I'm afraid to take that risk.

Toyota Service says the A/T is sealed and oiled for life, but I'm planning to have the tranny flushed on the 80k PMS.

Agree with primo Vin, A/T's do last given the correct maintenance. My oldest A/T car dates back to 1977...

The SA at Toyota casa told me that even though the gearbox is sealed for life, they are still selling the "correct" grade of ATF for it in their Parts Department.

I read from another thread that the 1.5 A/T is more fuel efficient than 1.3 A/T ?

Can I assume that the 1.5 G M/T is the most fuel efficent then?

WOW! 18-19 kms/litre?!? If I had a car that fuel efficient, I only need to spend P50+ for gasoline to and from work!

    Hi cathy,

Wala pa yan 18-19km/L... Hehe. Average speed ko to get that was still 110-130kph. Pag babad ng 80-90kph, kaya 22km/L

The Accent 1.5L CRDi can do 30km/L on the highway.

    *TS:

Suggestion ko na kuhanin yung 1.5G

    4 wheel disk brakes
    Driver + Passenger Airbag

    Yup it is.

Renzo's fuel mileage should be correct. Are you sure you want a Vios?

Common as roaches / Taxi aesthetics / Appliance on wheels comments ... etc, don't get to you? ..
