nabasa ko lang. do not really rely on the info "LADY DRIVEN". pano kung kaskasero din siya. tama yung mga naunang post. wala sa badge at model ng kotse yan. basta i-consider mo lang yung present condition ng kotse. kung hindi pa laspag e good buy yan. i-consider mo rin yung mga possible na papalitan in the future. basta kung sariwa pa yung kotse, go ka na. goodluck!

Tama, purki't lady driven doesn't mean tonado yung kotse. Kung super bagal siya magdrive, malamang kargado na ng karbon yang oto. Some women also don't care about humps - yung iba dinidiretso lang. Yung iba naman sobrang lunod ang clutch dahil hirap magtimpla.
Basta when looking for a used car, just examine the condition carefully.
As for the buyer, I suggest mag-ipon ka pa para makakuha ng XE. Wag mong pilitin ang sarili mo don sa XL kahit maganda man setup nito at ok ang deal ng seller. Baka pagsisihan mo. Importante talaga power steering lalo na't bagong tuto ka at may long drive once a week.

with 10K net per month..i'd go for a 1.6L matic. Ease of drive, power and all that crap. nakakainis pag di ka makaabot sa ibang car. sa 1.3L pag may pasahero ka la na, hirap na.

February 18th, 2006 06:16 PM #44Thanks guys, actually just yesterday i went to paranaque to check on one car, its 1996 1.6L Nissan Sentra Super Touring...by just looking at the aesthetics ng car, id say na maganda pa siya..its odometer reads at 77 thou Km, very clean interiors, with cd on board and of course with all the power amenities on board..and also its manual and base dun sa nabasa kong thread m/t differs by at least 1-3 Km/L if u compared it with a a/t (1.6L also)..its also direct owned meaning they have lessre chance of tampering its odometers..tomorrow id bring the mechanic to look for any defects.
The other day, i went to my neighbor to see personally ung binebentang 2000 1.3 Nissan Sentra FE, and also base sa nabasa kong thread its beyond the normal range ng ganung car class but with a 5 or i think 6 spoke mags, alarms, cd player on board, momo steering wheels, 105thou km mileage and first owned, is it a good buy or not?
Thanks. Dami ko nang natutuhan sa tsikot.com,hanep!

February 18th, 2006 07:36 PM #46hmmm, i think you should also consider if it's easy to find replacement parts for the car you're buying.

February 18th, 2006 07:48 PM #47well, if i believe in whatever tsikot.com forum is saying, there's one hell of replacement parts thats can be found everywhere though not as easy as toyota owners are claiming.
Before i used to believe that myths about nissan are true but since i joined in as a tsikoteer myself (though i still have to buy my own car), everything has changed..and now im looking forward in owning a nissan santra.

1) that sentra FE year 2000 with 105,000km? FLEET CAR.
mahilig ang mga pharma companies sa sentra FE. that much mileage on a 5-6 year old car is par for the course. on the bright side, religious mag-maintain (usually) ang fleet owners. pero siguradong laspag na suspension niyan.
2) the 1996 Super Touring? well.. maraming electrical borloloy yan. Masarap gamitin, pero as niky has said many times, masakitin sa electricals ang nissan.
i'd go for #2 kasi ang taas taas nung mileage nung unang car eh. pero baka mayari ka sa electricals. at least Sentra siya (hindi Altima or Cefiro) so mas mura yung parts...

another thing...
i find it totally amusing that pinoys use the phrase "lady-driven" as if it's a compliment. as if the car is better off for being lady-driven.
but that's totally not so!!! most ladies are not mechanically inclined at all. they don't know how to maintain the car, and they don't know kung meron nang sira or wala. i've heard quite a few stories of ladies driving their cars for 5 years and NEVER CHANGING THE OIL.
kung sa akin lang, pag sinabi sa akin "lady-driven," i'll run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.

February 19th, 2006 12:24 AM #50aesthethically, fresh na fresh ang super touring n nakita..as in malinis except for few dimples which i think is normal..given the low mileage pati ng super touring ang nakapag pa impress sa akin saka yung may ari ng car,eheheh..
Ano bang electrical borloloys na makikita sa super touring na wala sa super saloon??
Choice I would have made as well.
