Hmmn..actually electrical engineer ako kaya malamang masubukan kong mangalikot ng super touring eheheh, kaso sanay ako sa 230,000 volts eh,heheh..

Last year pa sana ako may kotse, binentahan ako ng classmate ko ng 1996 mazda (i dunno the specs) for 60K provided, id be the one that would overhaul the car and do some makeover..When we met again, she was selling it to me again for 80K pero overhauled n sya..

Madumi lang interiors nya but i dunno about the performance, siguro 1300 lang un..naka pioneer cd n sya..

But then again, I think i better go for the touring kung papasa sa mekaniko.

i'd go for the familia, lalo na kung GLXi. more features for your buck compared to its contemporaries.

that 1996 mazda ive been telling was my first first choice (coz i thought it was cheap for 80K) but then again i was told to look , look and look for other option and toyota came along...But tsikoteers posted here that nissan was a greater savings in terms of low resale value with all the ameneties on board.. I studied the threads to see the veracity of the myths about that car and found that its a hoax( might as well feature it at " the mythbuster" of the discovery channel to further prove.

Now if i bought NIssan and found that its actually a lemon, all i need to know is to look for computer and curse everyone else here fo false reports and threads, ehehehe..

bro y not get a corolla XE? its a very reliable car for a beginner... I have one a 96 acquired model and i understand your felling about owning one.. but make sure mag hanap ka ng good condition pa.. I bought mine last 2 years with a 55k Odo reading and now at 75k reading and my experience lng sa sira is that the blower yun aircon medyo mahina na sya, the radiator leak which is the stock one, carb overhaul, actuator ng aircon, change belts and some gulong na kalbo proper maintenance nka synthetic oil nga me eh imagine?.. yun lng..

We also have a 1996 Nissan Sentra 1.6 pero manual. As of now, it already has a little over 200,000km's. Aside from usual wear and tear parts, the car has had no major problems. All the electrics, aircon, etc still work flawlessly. Just make sure the car has been properly maintained and you'll have no problems.

Any fuel consumption difference between a 1.6 Corolla and 1.6 Sentra is negligible.

    share ko lang.

last year i bought a 2nd hand corolla 93Gli with mileage 180,000, ok pa naman sya hanggang ngayon, no major repair or anything, nagpalit lang ako alternator early this year pati battery, regular change oil.

between a 90 mazda na puro kanto and an older nissan ECCS, sa nissan ako. but then i've owned four 2nd hand toyotas, 3 corollas and 1 corona. matibay, dami pyesa, mataas resale value. mas mahal nga lang kesa nissan.
