Kaya lang i've heard na medyo malakas talaga sa gas yung GLI.. appreciate all your inputs guys... and thanks for sharing.

I've driven all the Corolla variants over the years, halos parepareho lang fuel consumption nyan, parang matipid pa nga ng konti yung GLI e.

oo nga sir..siguro it has something to do with the EFI system, mas efficient compared to the carbed engines of the XL and the XE

my firend drives a lovelife m/t gli and he claims to have an average consumption of 10-11kms/L at pagharabas daw siya magmaneho ay mga 8-9 lang, not bad, sakin 1.8 na a/t i only get 8-9kms/L at pagharabas ay 7 lang, kaya kung bili man kayo gli na, extra power for more or less the same consumption ng XE or XL.

xl owner here. the best ito for low maintenance and economy. my gas consumption for city driving is 11-12km/l(from alabang to cubao everyday) and can reach up to 14-15km/l(when i go to tarlac once a week). my brothers gli naman talagang malakas sa gas 9km/l ang average nya, light foot na ang inaapply nya dito. and can go down to as low as 7km/l kung spirited driving.

imho. among your choices, i would choose the XE. power amenities, frugal engine, good fuel consumption, which is good for city driving.
