The 2012 has improved primary ride, noticeable on the highway over crests and dips, but it's still very jiggly and harsh over sharp bumps.

The rear seat cushions have been redesigned and re-padded to mitigate the harshness, also. They're actually better than the Montero's, but the Montero still rides better.
