i am reminded of an old joke.
"the only time i can imagine that ____cheap car doing 120 kph, is if it were falling off a cliff!"
heh heh.
Just saw one Toyota Rush yesterday. I liked the style of it more than the Xpander. The Rush (for me) is more of a SUV.![]()
Inquired yesterday at Toyota Isabela the SA said "sir the Rush is for inhouse financing only" good luck!![]()
Hello guys,
Being a potential first time car owner, please enlighten me on how reliable and critical this NPAC safety test is as I am torn between Rush and Xpander.
Xpander rating VS Rush rating
Adult occupant: 39.08 vs 43.25
Child Occupant: 18.69 vs 21.33
Safety Assist: 13.89 vs 19.44
Xpander 4 star only while Rush is 5 star.
Is this a deal breaker?
Thanks for the info!
Not totally deal breaker.
Some cars here have a 0 or 1 star rating for all we know.
It just gives you peace of mind knowing your car will do its best to protect you from an accident.
However, if you are in a headon collission with a truck or rammed by it. No 5 star rating will save you.
Heck, even airbags dont deploy on some scenario.

No offense to anyone here but, wow. I understand the “Xpander VS Rush safety ratings” not being a deal breaker. But some cars being rated 0 or 1 star and it’s not a deal breaker? For the lack of a better word, that’s just plain ignorance.
