Agree that getting the Montero might be more practical between the two what with the wide dealer network, better after sales service and wide availability of parts. That is, if you don't mind the cheap monoblock plastic interior (quite the norm in it's class though), heavy steering and lifeless performance below 2000rpm. Excellent midrange kick though, making highway overtaking very effortless. I don't know about the Trailblazer, but the Montero has great ride comfort. Some complain about poor A/C performance, but I have no qualms with it. If you're a city dweller who's idea of off roading is a gravel parking lot, it'll be more practical to get the GLS-V. You get better gas mileage too. My friend's Montero GLS-V gets him around 8-10km/L, while our Strada GLS Sport V gets 6-8km/L. Don't know if the Strada's FC will still improve though, since it is only at 4tkms.
The Sorento CRDi 4x4 is an excellent pick. Quality is much better than pickup based SUVs. Better ride comfort, handling, performance and FC too.
