You guys can ask comparisons.

Mine is:
if you have P1.8m right here, right now, what would you choose? 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4x4 variant or the 2013 Montero Sport GT-V 4x4?

Please indicate your reasons I know there are a lot of threads like this, but this is more of a general thread. I asked for P1.8m because that's the typical price range of the top tier models of each brand of SUV's.

If I had 1.8M, I will buy a Focus and a Jimny 4x4 Not sure if that is just 1.8M though.

Or I will shell it out on a Sorento or a Santa Fe CRDi.

Anyway, amongst your choices, I have to go with the Montero GTV. I'm still on the process of believing that Chevrolet has redeemed itself delivering the needs of their customers for parts and cheaper PMS prices. In short, I still have doubts on Chevy's after-sales support.

You can't take that away from me. Family had an Optra. Wonderful car. Crap after-sales support.

Actually ang di ko nagustuhan sa fort and montero is yung driving position. Parang masyadong nakaharang ung A-pillar pag nagddrive o nasanay lang ako sa crossover ko na malapad windshield?

For 1.8M, I'd go with a Legacy GT sedan (300k discount) or a Forester XT. Kung 7-seater diesel, I'd go with a Hyundai Santa Fe 4x2 CRDi. Though I can also just use the 1.5M for an Optima or Accord (250k discount) and keep the 300k for upgrades.

Kung sa city driving lang, get a 4x2. So hintayin mo at ilalabas na 4x2 na TB, so 3 na main choices mo, MS, TB at 4x2 din na SF.

in the first half of 2012 the fortuner was the #1 carnapped vehicle in RP.
then urvan (bakit kaya?), vios, crv, then montero.
1st half of 2013 montero is now #1 (sa carnapped vehicles). dami kasi sa daan kaya madali i-dispose.
and, montero is makitid, halos sakto lang para sa 3 medium build adults ang 2nd row.

maganda sana TB, if you don't mind the reportedly bad after sales service. for me, feature for feature between your 2 choices, TB wins.

kaso mas maganda siguro ang new 2014 everest. if you can wait...

See the 2014 everest thread, it's all new. Based on the new ranger platform, it is bigger and using the new ranger duratorque engine. Search mo na lang, "2014 Ford Everest (All New 4th Gen)".
