If yes, how about your insight sa monty? Ganun din po ba? Ang sabi kasi sa TBZ thread, ang luwag daw ng 3rd row compared sa ibang SUV's like monty and fort eh

If its strictly between the two, I'll go for GLS-V + new set of shoes

ay sorry sir. i'm pertaining the bold part to santa fe. mas maluwag ang 3rd row ng montero compared to santa fe.

kaya tie ang montero and fortuner for me kasi mas malapad ang fortuner (madali ipagsiksik ang 3 people) pero mas konti legroom. while ang montero naman, mas siksik pag pinilit ang 3 people but more legroom

Actually ang di ko nagustuhan sa fort and montero is yung driving position.

For 1.8M, I'd go with a Legacy GT sedan (300k discount) or a Forester XT. Kung 7-seater diesel, I'd go with a Hyundai Santa Fe 4x2 CRDi. Though I can also just use the 1.5M for an Optima or Accord (250k discount) and keep the 300k for upgrades.

If I had $43000 right now to spend only on a car, I'd get a 997 Carrera S. hehehe

Kung sa city driving lang, get a 4x2. So hintayin mo at ilalabas na 4x2 na TB, so 3 na main choices mo, MS, TB at 4x2 din na SF.

Why GLSV with new shoes? Because I dont need a 4x4 vehicle in the city

IMO, pinakamagandang mods for a vehicle is a set of shoes... 300k savings morethan enough for a set of shoes, good tints, etc...

in the first half of 2012 the fortuner was the #1 carnapped vehicle in RP.
then urvan (bakit kaya?), vios, crv, then montero.
1st half of 2013 montero is now #1 (sa carnapped vehicles). dami kasi sa daan kaya madali i-dispose.
and, montero is makitid, halos sakto lang para sa 3 medium build adults ang 2nd row.

maganda sana TB, if you don't mind the reportedly bad after sales service. for me, feature for feature between your 2 choices, TB wins.

kaso mas maganda siguro ang new 2014 everest. if you can wait...

I'm not keen on spending 1.8M on a new Monty or Fortuner. I'd probably go for a slightly used second hand for these models... but if i was going second hand on P1.8M, i'd go for a LC100 no doubt. :D

Kung brand new, I'd wait out for the new Everest before deciding.

Montero is a safe choice plus tested during this floods days

Tb is the better SUV but it has not proven anything yet since it's relatively new(I mean I haven't seen one ford a hood deep flood unlike the montero and strada nagkalat sa YouTube yung mga videos ng fording capabilities nila)

1.8 aantayin ko na lang yung local fj cruiser no to Korea made cars for me(not because their a bad car/SUV but due to its main dealer and franchises mga kupal at walang kwentang unlike Toyota or Mitsubishi but worst ang horror story ng mg k cars)

Mas magnada sana features ng TBZ, but parang mas safe choice ung montero. Kaso angsami sa daan. Di lang talaga ako napopogian sa Montero. Ung iba lang. Just me though.
