As I was reading your posts here, nakaka baba naman na malaman na mahina pala sa overtake-kan ang City heheheh. I bought mine 1.5E last December, and I can't say any comparison of the City compared to Accent CRDI and Vios because I haven't tried driving these 2.

to TS, it is also my 1st-owned car. If you're noob about cars better acquire one any car from Honda. We can't deny the reliability and services of Honda

my last experience with koreans was in 2005, and i do not remember unhappy thoughts with them then.
Ako sir dipa nakakaexperience ng koreana ever since, joke.

BTT: based on some friends hyubdai and kia improved a lot.

Shoot!!! I am missing something, well goodboy na ako eh sayang may ganitong thread na sana bago ako nag asawa. TS dapat 12years ago mo pinost ito. Hahahah joke.

Hyundai crdi is ok, based on the forum dito sa tsikot nasolve na daw problem nito. But of course city already havr a good track record. So basically both are good choice for a new car.

Though i am very happy with my vios.

Thank You Sirs sa lahat ng feedbacks nyo. Greatly appreciated po. Kanina I went to Hyundai to view the accent unit white MT.
Question lang po ulit mga tsikoteers, I ask about the FC comparison between accent hatch and Honda 1.3S, He said kahit 1.6 pa yung accent lalabas na mas matipid pa din even 1.3 lang ang honda? Is it True? TIA!

sir, sa casa ka nagtanong, they're trying to sell you a car, so more often than not, ibibida nila yung product nila.
mas helpful yung ganitong forums kasi more often than not din, mga owners mismo ang magbibigay sayo ng experience nila regarding sa inquiry mo.

not necessarily true. this is another misconception that a car with a smaller engine displacement has better mileage than a car with a bigger engine displacement.

case in point, vios 1.3 and vios 1.5. the fc is almost the same, and some would even say the fc of the 1.5 vios is better than the 1.3. another is the ford explorer 3.5 and ford explorer 2.0 ecoboost. their Fc are almost the same, even though the difference in displacement is already equivalent to 1 engine (1.5 liters) and the explorer 3.5 weighs more than the 2.0 ecoboost.

why? e kasi the weights of the cars are the same. physics is exact, work = force x distance = (weight x rolling friction) x distance. all things being the same (weight, coefficient of drag, number of passengers and cargo rolling friction) then the work is the same. so no matter if the engine is a 1.3 or a 1.6 the work that the engine needs to do to bring you from point A to point B is the same. same work = same energy, same FC. AND, in most instances the engine with the bigger displacement has better overall thermal efficiency plus the fact that it also does not need to stay in low gear longer than the engine with a smaller engine displacement.

^ true but under heavy traffic (bumper to bumper + stoplights) smaller displacements consume less fuel aside from that condition though based sa reported fuel consumption ng mga accent crdi owners napakatipid ng accent tapos diesel pa. if youre gonna stick to your priority which is FC dapat talaga accent. which looks better is up to you. for me though, masmaganda itsura ng accent since masmadalang at masbago. interior naman madali ayusin. so just look for comfort when it comes to interior. mataas din naman resale ng previous gen accent crdi pero in the next 5 years im guessing na masmataas accent since it would probably still be the outgoing model while yung city may bago na. good luck!

Every brand and model will always have its lovers and haters.

In the end for me, a 1st car should be one that I can afford to operate and maintain.

Hi Sir, kaya nga din ako nag start ng thread na ganito to know the real deal since sa mga experts na tulad nyo alam ko, hindi ako i-mimislead tulad ng mga SA na ang gusto lang ay maka benta. Minsan nga tatanuning mo about sa features ng kotse, ndi pa alam isasagot..

Hi Mga Sirs. Maraming salamat po sa mga feedbacks. It helped me a lot in choosing. To tell you honestly, I'm now leaning more on getting the Accent Hatchback.
Interior is so-so but everything I need is there naman. Sana nga lang, in five years time, mataas pa din resale value nya at maayos pa.
