    Fortuner owner here pero if I were you monty na, old na kasi fort or wait for the upcoming all new fort... when???.... nobody knows.

    I bought the Santa Fe because of SAFETY. I don't buy 3rd world only vehicles I prefer vehicles that have been crash tested in the US and Europe... And this year 3 years na Santa Fe ko and di naman ako hirap sa pyesa, lakas nga sa engine oil Montero Sport eh so I heard my Santa Fe needs 6 liters only I think you guys need 9?

    Sorry for me, NO TO THIRD WORLD! I am a very safety conscious person...

    Ngayon kolang nalaman na third world country pala ang Australia at New Zealand. At ang technology ng monty ay galing sa Japan na malamng isang third world country din. Dami ding Sta Fe sa Africa, siguro puro first world country ang mga bansa sa Africa.

    Ok an test na ba sa US and Europe and Montero mo? Sila ang may pinaka highest standards sa buong mundo (US and Euope >>> Australia). Yung Santa Fe meron din yan sa Africa kasi GLOBAL VEHICLE yan... Passing global standards... Bakit Montero mo di mabenta sa US??

    As of now, clear naman na ang Montero Sport is the clear winner in the power department. Since it has a 34hp advantage over the intercooler-less Fortuner 2.5D4D. I have yet to ride in a Montero Sport, but I find the Fortuner 2.5D4D not only to be slow, but also lacking in headroom (and also interior room in general) due to the overhead aircon vents which they could have put on the sides like those of the SF, and the interior panels are very plasticky... I'm not exactly a big fan of automatic climate control, basta't malamig ang hangin na lumalabas, OK na iyon. So, let's just wait till the new versions of both the Fort and the Monty come out.

    AFAIK, the Montero Sport / Challenger is also being sold in Europe. So maybe it's not really third world?
