My father in-law is deciding between this 3 SUV.. I can't give my opinion kasi i don't own any of this car. 948k -1M ang budget nila...

    Things to consider:
    1. Maintenance
    2. Safety
    3. Current car issues to watch.

It will be use in pampanga and for daily use.

Thank you so much for the help.

    God bless all tsikoters..

for maintenance I'll go for the Crosswind, for safety it's the Innova, issues, well ganon pa rin ang Adventure mausok pa rin,

Innova would be my choice, considering safety (it has an airbags compared to crosswind & adventure which only has seatbelts, anyway they also called AUV on stilts) and , issues- mukha na resolve na yung d4d issue, well dun lang naman daw yun sa mga 1st model ng Innova (year 2006 something), pero ngayon ok na naman daw. Maintenance, hmm...medyo sakto lang, since it is a common rail, natural lang na medyo may cost ang maintenance niya compared on maintenaning an old-school diesel. power, comfort and efficiency..ay panalong-panalo ang innova.

and like those people who commonly says here in the forum about auv's. Adventure is too old while the Crosswind is too overpriced.

(P.S. Innova, Adventure and Crosswind are not classify as SUV's, they are classify as an AUV-asian utility vehicle or in modern terminology they are called as MPV-multi-purpose vehicle, SUV are those like Fortuner, Montero, Alterra cha..cha...)

Mas kumportable kahit papano sa Adventure at Crosswind at mas malakas humatak while giving similar gas mileage as the Crosswind. Mas marami ring safety features. At since walo kayo, siguro importante sa inyo ang power lalo na kapag umaakyat kayo ng mga bundok-bundok lagi with a full load. Suggest ko kunin mo ang Innova E or G D4D M/T.

Innova din ang choice ko. Pero make sure that you get clean diesel. All crdi diesels need good quality diesel fuel. Important yan to keep it good running condition. Thats the only advantage of the Adventure and Crosswind, those 2 use old school engines that can burn anything short of bunker fuel.

Ergo, Crosswind for me.

All three will be able to fit in eight people but with no more space for anything else, and it will be quite uncomfortable as well. A 2nd hand Starex or Carnival would do very well also.

Almost all claim they can seat 3 pero in reality 2lang kakasya comfortably sa forward facing 3rd auv seat.

    Kahit fortuner,montero,alterra di.kasya 3 sa likod.

Kung strictly8 pax ang sakay mo, maybe you need a van.

I strongly suggest you look into the 2nd hand market din for a wider and perhaps more luxurious range of choices.

my vote goes to Crosswind and Adventure. look for the ruggedness of a car, 8 ang isasakay mo "MADALAS" tapos ang suspension mo sa likod ay Coil springs at Fluid shocks lang (Innova), madalas kang mag bottom out niyan. The wheel well of Innova is not designed to be big for aesthetic purposes lang. talagang maglalaro ang suspension sa likod kasi malambot. Get the Leaf springs + Shocks combination.

The TS won't dare to race or drive fast with those passenger loads. Mahirap mag overtake with these rides at around 80kph up, pero kung ganun na rin ang takbo mo, I think mas mabuti pang mag maintain ng ganitong speed.

why not visit the showrooms and try out the third row seats yourselves? it's free. huwag kang mahiya! that's what showrooms are for: to show you what you're getting! only then will you realize the reality of these third row seats. not to mention the difficulty in getting into them. bring along your intended passengers and fit them in, to see just (un)comfortable they are. and don't forget: people grow. fast.
when i was choosing my ride, i brought along my regular baggage to see if it will fit in (no kidding!). i told the salesman, "kung kumasya itong bagaje ko, bibili ako". (kumasya. bumili. walang sisi.)
    good luck.

Thank you so much to all of you.. Your opinion are noted and will be given to my father in-law. Ang hirap talagang mamili ng sasakyan. Lalo na if pinagipunan po yung pambabayad. Daming ideas na natutunan dito. Maraming salamat po.. I'll let you know if ano sa tatlo and napili nila.. Kaya ngayon they are looking for brand new na.
