    100% agree.

Pero nakapagtataka rin, ang dami ko nakikitang brand new Fortuner. Karamihan 2.5D-4D. Iba parin ang gayuma ng Toyota

HID headlamps, leather seats (2.7G, 2.5G A/T, 3.0V) at auto climate sa lahat ng variant lang ang lamang ng Fortuner over Montero Sport. Pero, who cares?

Madali lang yan gayahin ika nga. HAHA! Kung base model nga napapag-mukhang TOTL eh. Ahohoho. Ahihihi

Regards to turbo lag: Strangely, the new Fortuner ATs also have similar lag to the Montero Sport that I didn't notice in older models. It takes about 1.5 seconds for the engine to respond after you bury the throttle. With the Montero, it's slightly worse... about 2 seconds.

Maraming bagong Fort dahil sa malakas ng promotions at sales events ng Toyota. Pagkatapos ng 4th Quarter buying spree, status quo nanaman yun.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

^ maybe due to the electronic throttle... sa kia carens nararamdaman ko din yan lalo na pag naka off ang aircon... may nabasa ako sa forums ng kia na due daw yun sa ecu update (yung may improvement sa egr function) and the only solution is to turn on the aircon..

Undoubtedly, that's a big part of it. But there's still a slight extra amount of lag with the Strada 2.5 before the turbo kicks in as compared to the Hilux 3.0... that slight difference is the short amount of time it takes to go from idle to 2000 rpm.

With the pick-ups, the lag is less noticeable. But with the Montero Sport, equipped with the new VGT engine, it's huge.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The deciding factor: Why I chose the Fortuner over the Montero sport
