Cost of 5yr Ownership: CRV Diesel vs Gas

Probably none yet as these are still fairly new. The only minor lurching reported so far happens
1. When you partially let go of the brakes from a full stop and ride them to creep.
2. When coasting on level ground and it downshifts, the engine RPM rises by a few 100.
Granted it's not as smooth as the Jatco made ones but so far, so good.



Is this in D on level ground or going downhill sir?

The downshifting while coasting and the subsequent rise in rpms seems to be a common complaint. Unfortunately, it looks like this is natural for this AT. Hopefully, the disengagement problem (which is potentially dangerous) has been resolved in the units sold in the PHL.
