For such a huge vehicle I think I prefer AT lalo if you're doing 75% city driving.

If tingin mo you can't do without the conquest interior, DRL, or rollbar, might as well spring for the AT variant.

Otherwise, the Hilux G seems ok na.

The Fortuner rims on the conquest, madali lang hanapin sa tabi tabi hehe

I personally prefer the Conquest because it just looks so bad-ass. There is just something with the front of the regular Hilux that makes me uneasy.

A friend even claims that it looks like the lips of a rubber duckie.

I find the previous Hilux (the Land Cruiser look alike) more appealing than the existing Hilux, but not the Conquest.

If you are short on budget and the only concern with the G AT is the the facelift, then go and buy na the current model.

Preference. Get the newest and that is Conquest. Said to myself I will go back to M/T next time I acquire another....strange no?
It's because everytime I step down driving an A/T my left foot needs to loosen or some stretches. M/T makes my both feet active

I'd go for the G A/T. Unless you are after the added performance of having a manual or the allure of the added accessories, the benefit of having an automatic for a daily driver is a very big factor.

Besides, it is very easy to buy the corresponding parts and do the facelift yourself... For the 60k difference, I'm pretty sure you can get the lights, grille and bumper, probably plus some of the added Conquest accessories too.

nasa 1,386,000 yun A/T na conquest from 1,311,000 na M/T.. thats 75k difference to save you the hassle of upgrading to the conquest look at the same time its automatic!

pero mahirap din daily driver yan pick-up kasi matagtag tapos ang laki pa.. hirap mag park hehe

The TS mentioned that the G A/T is 1.24M. That would be a 146k difference versus the Conquest A/T for what are basically just mostly cosmetic upgrades.

If I were in this situation and in need of a pickup, I would get the G, install just the Conquest dual bulb headlights (the single, most important part of the facelift IMHO), bedliner, rollbar, and probably a sliding bed cover. Should cost only a small fraction of the 146k. The rest can be spent on go-fast mods and even a few months worth of gas...

If you're eyeing the Conquest, it's because you WANT a pickup ;)

take an AT if its for city drive most of the time, dont mind the add-ons / appearance int/ext, you can customize these things later more important is that after a year of use, magkasinlaki pa rin ung right & left leg mo

Personally, i prefer the Conquest because it has the newer design.

Until recently, my daily driver is my Hilux 2.4 M/T. For me the transmission was not much of an issue except when i was really tired. Just take note that it is a long vehicle so consider where you usually park or go to.
