haha just as I expected, MB, then Jag, then BMW.

I guess there is something about being a bit less than the rest.

BB I'd expect few respondents for your thread. How many people on this forum drive either of the 6 cars to have a first hand experience. The E90's very recent so how can you tell if it's reliable or not. For all we know it may be better than the IS.

yes the E90 could be very reliable but if some of the reliability issues with the X5, 7 series etc are any indication, i would'nt bet on it on the other hand i've yet to hear a Lexus owner complain on some of the local forums with Lexus owners. in fact some of them own bimmers n lexus, n based on their opinions lexus is just plain reliable. some of them even have 0 doubts in obtaining lexus cars from gray market importers with 0 warranty, why? because thats how confident they are with the reliability. which they cant say the same for mercs n bimmers.

I beg to disagree. Lexus is more like Euro luxury but without the reliability and maintenance problems. The only things this brand lacks are dynamics and style, currently led by BMW and Benz, respectively. But certainly, it's on its way there.

i don't know why discussions about cars and sports always become so personal. parang religion and politics, hehe. but it's the truth.

parang ako, pag pinintasan nyo ang BMW o LA Lakers, away tayo

    hehe just my impression imho:

Jag X ( always take a last glance)
    MB C ( mercedes benz)
BMw 318 ( prestine shine is a must)
Lexus IS ( start and go, so commercialized)
    volvo s40 ( start&go till its lifeline)
audi A4 ( engineered to d last detail)
    VW passat ( folks saloon)

If prestige is based on rarity, then a Peugeot 307 is more prestigious than a 3-Series, at least in RP context.

In their respective classes they may be but together... it''s like comparing apples to oranges.
