Maganda naman mag-invest sa real estate, and it would certainly be prudent to prioritize a roof over your head (unless you don't mind sleeping in the car). But personally I would think twice before acquiring a condo unit of any kind. It's only as good as the building it's on, which is usually what, 30 to 40 years maximum? And you won't even own the lot it's standing on, unlike a real house and lot.

Ewan ko lang ha, but I've seen cars that can last much longer than that, given proper care. ;)

Thank you. You are correct. To set an extreme example:

I know someone who is very rich and very hardworking. He has a business in Quiapo and he also lives here sa second floor of the building. He did not even own a real house. Never owned a real car in his life. Mga delivery vans lang ang sinasakyan. But he invested in lots around Manila worth millions. He died early.

To cut the story short, He never enjoyed his money. He adopted a daughter before he died and Ngayon, the daughter married a street smart guy. nakatira na yung adopted sa Valle Verde 6, with cars BMW, Expe, Patrol. Super yaman ngayon without any effort.

I think the moral of the story is to spend the money appropriately. Dapat may balance. Save a little for yourself for your little pleasures. beer, women and cars.

a condo is an investment, while a car is a liability. kaya condo or any other property over a car.

Try to invest on a house and lot kesa sa condo. Condo units depreciates faster than a house and lot.

Kung naghahanap kayo ng lots or house pm me hehe may advertising pa

Correction lang guys. Most condo units DEPRECIATE in value nowadays. What appreciates now ay yung mga lupa, and in some cases nagdedepreciate pa nga.

    Hi hens,
Oo nga. ganda ng body kit for the Benz. When I saw your Brabus Benz, I was inspired. Tulungan mo akong gumastos ng P500,000 (joke only)

Land is still safer, though... as even though some may depreciate initially, they'll at least hold their value in the long run... Cavite and Laguna lands are good bets, as long as they're near areas of development... if they're in an area that is already being developed, you'll be hit with too much of a premium to make it worthwhile.

Of course. Land is always the safest bet.

Kaso lang, most people who buy a 3.5M car have houses/lands/condos/buildings already. Advise ko lang, if you don't have at least one of those, don't get a car that's too expensive.

That's actually a good alternative. Pang-business na lang muna. Then if you work hard and get lucky, you could probably get both.

again, if you have 3.5M and a 2nd hand car

    mag-down ka sa bagong tsikot
mag-down ka sa condo na rfo na
bilhan mo ng basic furnitures/appliances yun condo mo thru your credit card thru installment
pa-advertise ka sa dyaryo, for rent for expat yun condo mo. per day or per mo.

    may bagong tsikot ka na,
may income generating asset ka pa like the condo for expat for rent hehehe
