Most should. If it doesn't shift, then there's something wrong with the sensors or the electronics.

Baguio is hell on electronics. I had a car once that wouldn't idle at all in Baguio, because the air pressure was so different. But this definitely sounds like a control fault in the TCM, which shouldn't be happening, whatever the air pressure.

I've spent most of my professional life in the local automotive industry, on the service and technical side of things. Usual standard response for these cases is anything but ....

Service personnel, service advisers, supervisors, managers, are all under the dealership principals. They will do anything in the name of damage control, no exceptions. They may speak the truth, or they may not, everything would be subjective. Hindi naman tayo lahat pareho ang pag-iisip. Proceed with caution.

So, is it safe to say that all Haima cars would have a problem because of this?

That there's still some quality issues on all cars? Or the Haima7 or any other model is different?

On a level playing field, all car brands have technical glitches, even the uber expensive ones. In the case of Haima, re: quality issues, I don't know. I bet even their principal here in the Philippines cannot answer that question.

Makes sense. Didn't the Montero Sport had the problem of sudden accelaration or something? I wonder why it still sold so many units. Well, because it's a Mitsubishi?

    Maybe because its a Mitsubishi.

Vehicle manufacturers contract the various mechanical, electrical, electronic spareparts of their vehicles from OEM manufacturers. So in a single vehicle model, of a single manufacturer, spareparts for it would come from places all over the globe (China, Italy, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, etc.) Now multiply that to the number of vehicles brands and vehicle models. Get the picture?

Most if not all of those spareparts pass quality control, but some bad apples make it thru. A majority will be filtered by pre-delivery inspection in the dealers, BUT ... again some will slip thru ..... Hence sometimes shite happens!

it could be 1 in a million nagkataon lang siguro na inilabas yung issue sa media.. na alam naman natin minsan exaggerated, though dapat nagbibigay din sila ng tamang solution plus tamang approach papano iresolve yung specific case..to gain confidence sa prospective buyers nila since nag uumpisa plang yung brand..

Just an example: when I was with Jaguar ages ago, we had a customer complaining that his XJ6 (1997) was suffering a hiccup upon cold start first thing in the morning. Vehicle was brought into the service center for diagnosis. Tagal din namin hinanap ang cause ng mis-fire na yun. Long story short, a portion of the ignition wiring harness for cylinder 5 was "shorted".

Guess where that wiring harness was made? Clue, its factory is here in Cavite.

Am I helping you on your stress levels? Or am I just making it worse?

A whole lot better now than it used to be. Interior is still cheap by Toyota standards, but given it competes with the APV, not bad. Handling has improved to somewhat acceptable levels. The first one was annoyingly darty... scary to drive on slick roads. The only foibles of the new one are the lack of sound insulation (still) and the annoying pogo-ing of the suspension on uneven roads.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Madali naman magdecide, ikaw Lang nagpapahirap sa utak mo kase ang dami mo iniisip.

First, reconcile if ano ka ba talaga, sales agent o car buyer.

2nd, andres ka ba o macho.

Then .... Teka Lang may meeting
