Ok! after weeks of weighing the pros and cons of getting a BRV-S or an Innova 2.8J. we decided to get the BRV.

    Reasons:
    1) automatic versus manual, I really prefer to drive an A/T car. Innova A/T Dsl or gas variants would really stretch our budget.
    2) Size. I am concerned that I might have a hard time driving a bigger car in our area. Medyo masikip ang iskinita sa lugar namin.
    3) Although we're looking for a family car, we rarely go for an out of town trip, so utmost, 3-4 passengers at a time lang ang laman ng sasakyan. Also, bihira lang ako at yung brother ko na umuwi ng Pinas, so bihira talaga mapupuno yung sasakyan.
    4. Porma.

All this time akala ko maayos ang service nila.

Hi. I need help. Planning to buy before the year ends.

I'm looking for a car big enough for me to be able to pass through flooded streets, but not as big as the SUVs (i'm definitely not an expert when it comes to parking). I drive within metro manila on weekdays, and go to the province every weekend.

Right now, these are my options -- Mobilio, HR-V, BR-V and Tuscon. Obviously, i'm a huge fan of honda cars. Based on experience, i think they're reliable and i am very much satisfied with their after sales support. Tuscon is also included in the list because it's diesel, which is a huge plus. Why not the new CR-V? It was my initial choice, but it is a bit over my budget. Ecosport is also a consideration, but i haven't visited a ford branch yet.

Any insights would be much appreciated. I am also open to other suggestions aside from the ones mentioned above. Budget is about 1-1.2M.

    Thanks in advance!

Ps.. i have yet to test drive hrv and mobilio. And i was told by a hyundai agent that they dont offer test drive right now.

Again, i apologize for being off-topic.

I would wait for the new ecosport with the selectshift transmission. if you cant wait... the mobilio is better looking and more fuel efficient than the brv.

its a good option too. diesel is cheap. if you do proper maintenance tatagal din naman yan 10yrs+

if your budget permits go for the tucson.

Among your choices, i’d go for the HR-V. Based it plainly on the looks, hehehe! Check out the mugen variant. [emoji4]

I choose the Ertiga GL 1.4, which was not in my top3 choices 🤣. The main reason was the price/budget, 2nd was the use. I needed a car suitable for daily use of 1-3pax, comfy ride, good fc,can fit 3adults+3kids for out of town trips. My top option innova was too big for me for daily city driving. 2nd option brv was my original choice, 3rd option avanza was ok too but I settled for the wild card,Ertiga. The price was incomparable for its features:778k-30k (cash dscount)=748k; w/ medium black tint,seatcover,3yrLTO,backing sensor, rain vsor. The 250k diff from BRV is huge. Its ride is better than the avanza. The FC is better than brv&avanza. Its a good practical choice. 🤓👌👍
