Yung lumang sentra b14 namin nagjejerk kapag change shift from 1st to 2nd yung governor pumapalya na, we sold it bago pa lumala sira.
Is the manual gearbox dead? - Editor's Note by AutoIndustriya.com
Nice read. I still maintain that changing gears manually is a self expression. I dont want a computer telling me when to change gears and doing so without my approval. I drive a stick even through the daily rush hour of metro manila.

mas matipid sa gas kasi you can coast more.
I still think Manual tranny is the more durable and a must if it is a work vehicle and I like driving a manual if I am playing around BUT 98% of the time im not. I just cruise along in traffic waiting most of the time. This is the part I will not like a manual- yes 98% of the time

If you know what i mean hehe
For me this need a subjective judgement.when i say subjective, it varies from one person to another... Kung ako tatanungin, mas maganda ma-experience both trannies for a year or two.. Then after that, dun mo palang malalaman best car that suits your need.
So matic na lang and enjoy the traffic.
AT:
Bad traffic or stop-and-go
Long drives wherein 90% will be crusin' at highway speeds
MT:
Wide roads where you can play
Twisty mountain roads
track or drag racing
kung nasa Metro Manila ka, go for the most comfortable to to drive. Mas madali ang automatic sa singitan hehe.
No pun intended sir, but i think walang koneksyon ang pagiging AT na Rio sa pag ooverheat at pagkawala ng preno since separate systems ang cooling system (radiator), braking system (preno) at transmission system. Correct me if I'm wrong though, but having the same cooling and braking system, an MT rio could have the same problems as you stated.
BTT: Pag long drives at pag matraffic, I prefer driving an AT.
Pag ako lang mag-isa, i just use my MT car so pede kong laruin at di ako mainip.

noob question po, I grew up with the notion that AT cars can't be towed. is this true or is this true only in older AT cars? :dunno:
hi guys!
May question lang ako about A/T
