pero yung maraming umangal sa akin hehe, about doon sa mabagal mag-drive, true, hindi sa tranny yun hahaha, pinsan kong naka Hyundai Coupe A/T hindi niyo maabutan yun kahit naka-SIR pa kayo hehe. and kung naabutan niyo nung naka-Cefiro pa ako hehe.

sorry doon guys, hindi nga sa tranny yun, sa driver, pero "most" of them are A/T drivers kasi nga ganito.. some A/T drivers wala silang pakialam kahit mabagal sila lalo na sa paahon, while a M/T car needs boost para hindi na kambyo ng kambyo diba. alam niyo yun? hehe.

by the way, pinagtatanggol ko M/T but I prefer driving A/T cars dito sa city hahaha.

in europe, 2010 model cars with automatic transmissions, the engine stalls or stops running when you step on the brakes and the car comes to a complete stop to save on fuel, then automatically restarts once you release the brake pedal and step on the accelerator. this is not possible with cars equipped with M/T. some hybrid cars are the same, it has to be equipped with A/T and/or operate on the electric motor or in some torque demanding situations, the engine and the electric motor propel the car

kalokohan...doing 50kph will never consume less than car cruising at 80-120kph with engine speed running only at 1500-2000rpm..

xty ko runs 100kph at 1800rpm...pero most of the time napapapisil ng madiin sa throttle di ko namamalayan 180-200kph na, lalo na kung napapasunod sa mabilis...si wifey lang nagpapaalala sa akin...hay (downside of having the gauge cluster in the middle)

by the way, tingin ko nahanap ko na ang kasagutan dito hahaha.

alam ko na bakit sinabi kong mas mababagal mag-drive ang mga driver ng A/T cars, I did a little survey kahapon pauwi at kaninang umaga papasok.. Things I noticed na mababagal magmaneho ay.. ladies (most of them I think are mothers) and old people especially (40+ I assume).

I think, tolerable naman pala hehe, mabuti na rin ang nag-iingat talaga hehe. I agree they need A/T cars, A/T cars are built for them talaga.

sir, mas nakakatipid po ba yun sa fuel consumption? kasi based from what i know, mas mataas fuel consumption sa pag-start ng engine.

agree ako sa iyo, kapag nag-start hindi ba mas malakas ang fuel. pero yung sa europe, parang "standby" lang yata yun, hindi totally off then start hehe.
