I test-drove a friend's 2013 Accord Coupe V6 with a 6-speed MT last month. We drove at the twisties of the foothills. I didn't grind the gears or stall the clutch like when I was a beginner.
I wasn't rusty at all. Before that, the last time I drove a MT car was an acquaintance's WRX back in 2007.
The only strange thing I encountered was having six gears instead of five. That felt weird.
Since CVTs are basically friction driven, I'm concerned about its longevity. If only someone could invent a CVT with gear teeth.
