Ang nadrive ko cvt trans yung mga bago ng honda.

Ano difference doon sa old cvt ng jazz or nissan cvt?

Kasi meron ako nabasa hindi daw true cvt yung sa mga bagong honda kung icompare doon sa cvt ng first gen jazz.

Pero ok cvt kasi hindi pumapalo pag nagshift.

^^^ The newer CVT used on the new batch of Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Subaru cars are much better than the older type of CVT as used in the older generations of the Jazz, City, and Lancer Cedia. Japanese cars either use CVT made by Jatco or Aisin so they share the same build so the difference is only with the tuning to match the engine of the vehicle.

The CVT on the new Civic Turbo is tuned differently than the CVT used on the less powerful Civic NA, City, or Jazz. The CVT on the Accord will be tuned differently also.

My Forester XT accelerates quickly with its CVT tranny but the sour note is that it does not give the sensation of going up thru the gears (despite seeing the dashboard displaying the gears moving up to 8th gear). The ECU matches automatically the right gear of the CVT to the revving of the engine. On my Fiesta Ecoboost, you can feel the DCT gears shifting up on hard acceleration and the rpm rises up when the DCT downshifts. DCT behaves more like a MT tranny.
