Battle of the Transmissions: M/T vs. A/T

I just would like to clarify this post. Do you mean like 4X4 A/T tranny when this kind of vehicle is being towed you have to shift on neutral? And I should say it will be safer to do it not to cause any damage at all? Any advice pls. Mine is DMAX 4X4 A/T. TIA.

neutral on the transfer case (as i recall--pressing 4H and 4L simultaneously) not on the AT. the neutral on the t.case will disconect the drive wheels from the tranny.

just to be sure or if you have doubts.... get a flat bed....
