i think the warranty stays. 3 years or xxx km, whichever comes first.
but as a taxi, those xxx km do come much, much earlier than private cars'.

If ever e leless ni toyota ang warranty if ginawa mong taxi ang car nila. It means ba nito e hindi talaga created ni toyota as taxi ang car nila? And agains sila dito?

you'll have to ask toyota that question, sir.
i can not answer for them.

(gosh! ang hirap intindihin! parang pigdin textspeak.. bossing.. kaunting alalay naman sa sentence construction and spelling.. i had to read it three times.. aloud! something this challenging... it has to be intentional!)

I really don't understand people who feel like their cars are superior just because it wasn't made into a taxi. My AE101 was even White and NONE of my friends or family ever made comments that I drove a taxi. I never felt any less driving a "taxi model", in fact I loved that car with it's White paint against super Black tint.

My cousin buys Honda sedans because Toyota sedans are taxis daw but I never felt like his car was better than mine. Pareho lang kaming naka Japanese compact sedan 'no

Do people feel less about these cars because it's used as taxi abroad? I don't think so.

I don't see the logic on a car model being used as taxi= inferior car.

For me as long as properly maintained at malinis ang kotse, walang sinabi ang 'superior' na model/ brand na lamog.

AFAIK converting a vehicle for public use voids the warranty. If this is true, then I take more pride that I drive what other less informed folks derisively term as a "Taxi" car. If you have thousands of taxis plying the Metro day in and day out without warranties, that is a testament to the trust that fleet owners have for this model. Add in the fact na feeling Paul Walker and Vin Diesel yung mga taxi driver dito sa atin, imagine the abuse those cars must be enduring yet they still keep running with minimal maintenance.

And I stand by my impression that those folks are less informed. Like what Ma'am Cathy posted above, in more progressive countries taxis are usually mid sized or executive sedans. I've ridden in Accords, Crowns, Camrys, Sonatas, MBs etc, you name it taxis abroad. Imagine my surprise seeing a CUV in Yellow Cab garb

Bakit naging taxi thread yung MPV thread lol

simply bcoz we filipinos wants to make konting yabang lang naman kapag di pang taxi ang car ... our mentality is likely the same as Chinese when it comes to car brand. My supplier in China said if you wanna do business with Chinese in China, you must drink a lot to closed the deal, your car must be S class, BMW 7 series, high end sports car etc.. to be stand out from the rest otherwise, literally sa kankongan ka na lang daw magnegosyo. hehe

Sadly, this is true sir. I'm really thankful that I learned to look beyond status symbols early on in life. If not, malamang sobrang baon na ako sa utang ngayon hehe

BTT: Only car I personally driven among the choices was the Avanza. My two cents is if your main reason in getting a MPV is to get people from point A to B, it is sufficient.

    true.
OT din. if you notice halos walang entry level ng cars on the road. SG gov't discourage Singaporeans to buy private cars instead take public transpo

So it mean hindi talaga created as taxi.

I think the reason they void the warranty is because normally hindi sa casa dinadala for service yung mga purchased units na ginagawang taxi. At least that's what the SA told me. But then again, the cost will be high and baka hindi na kumita yung operator kung ipapa casa maintained nya yung taxi niya.

Almost all of us take passion with our rides. Cars we bought with hard earned money. It is then but normal that you squeeze every ounce of pride you get from your ride. . .

BTT : Anu nga ba topic?

Yung warranty naman kasi ng vehicle is X years or Y km, whichever comes first. If ginawang taxi, posible na in 1 year ma-reach na yung Y km limit kaya umigsi yung warranty period. So reason is not because it was used as taxi per se.

Diba? Even mahal basta warranty and sa ganung setup ginawa ang car.

Let's get back to topic please and avoid replying to out of topic questions. Thanks!
My vote goes to the ertiga because it is what fits my budget, quite practical, and tested na rin naman naming ang Suzuki. Avanza has too simple design, APV is from what I've heard a gas guzzler, while I believe I cannot pay the "prestige" of a Honda.
