    medyo OT na hahaha. kung meron lang Civic Si / Euro Type R variants. sa pinas yun ang kinuha ko/ kung sa altis mas maganda yung may skyroof na hatch na corolla ng toyota.au

    Pang binata talaga ang Civic :D

    Kaya nawala sa listahan ko ang Civic kasi nakita ko 'yung facelifted US version nya. Eh parang hindi ata makakarating ang style na 'yun sa 'Pinas.

    Galing lang ako Honda dealership, hindi na sila nagcacarry nung Japan na version ng bagong Civic, so no rear camera, folding rear seats, and bluetooth ang mga bagong units.

    Unless ang dealer na mapupuntahan mo eh may natitira pang Japan version.

    Mazda makes great cars, but you cant trump the Toyota badge that has been here for decades.

    Honda's tenure in the PH is roughly the same as Mazda's, but the difference is that Honda didn't shut down in the late 90s and left thousands of Mazda owners up in the air with no support whatsoever.

    Car enthusiasts are able to look past the brand, but for 99% of the population, the brand is very, very telling of what they believe their ownership experience will be.

    In the same way, most car enthusiasts probably know squat about electronics, so they will go for known brands such as Samsung or Sony, even if there are other more hardcore and better-speced options from other brands.

    Not really. Ford (when FGP was still handling Mazda Phils.) made a catastrophic pricing with the 2nd gen.

    Because they knew that they are going to separate soon (back in 2012) and the Mazda 3 is a serious threat to their Focus. Remember the Mazda 3 and MKII Focus were introduced in the Philippines back to back almost 10 years ago, and the 1st gen Mazda 3 outsold the Focus back then.

    The new Mazda3 is vying for 2014 World Car of the Year honors along side the BMW 4-series and the Audi A3. That speaks highly of Mazda's design for the new Mazda3. Only Mazda is the lone Asian car brand to make it as a finalist in the categories, which is swarmed with European brands.

    Maybe the older Mazda cars but not the new SkyActiv engines on the CX-5, Mazda6, and Mazda3. Check out the TopGear PH articles on the fuel consumption of the 2.0L and 2.5L SkyActiv engines of the CX-5 and Mazda6.
