It feels much smaller for its size UPON acceleration (handling is different story, although not bad either). I feel that the extra displacement went to good use in highway passing, where the 4AT doesn't require much downshifting to dial faster speed, or even passing. Our 2.0L downshifts in a jiffy when it lacks the torque for passing. Saka pakiramdam ko same lang FC. Mas mura pa i-register yung 2.0L haha

    LOL!
Regarding sir sa registration, around how much yung 2.0 from 2.4?

I have no idea sa 2.4L pero di ba may displacement bracket sa LTO ang registration? Definitely higher ang 2.4L.

See below for LTO MVUC rates. As per the details, all cars from models 2001 onwards will be classified by size/weight. Check table 3. Yung 2001 6th gen Accord ko has a stamped MVUC of P3600 (medium cars 1601-2300 kg).

For older cars (2000 below), check table 2. Mas mahal yung MVUC cost ng modsize cars models 1995-2000 (6000 or 4800).

Kung babasehan yung MVUC ng LTO, wala difference sa registration cost yung Camry 2.0L sa Camry 2.4L or Camry 3.0L assuming 2001 year model sila or newer. Same goes for other medium cars within the same weight category.

ah I see, I stand corrected. Anyway, try mo nga yung Camry if nagka Accord ka na pala dati. Ako prefer ko naman Accord kasi may experience nako sa Camry.

    Basti,

Maybe it's evened out coz the 2.0L Camry's got the 15s vs the 2.4V Camry getting the 16s with overall bigger tires? Anyways, been off the stock 15s for ages, so I also can't quite recall how those felt like. Hahaha!

The 4AT gets the Camry to 120 kph in 4th gear at 3,000 rpm. Would've been more economical I suppose if there were a 5th gear, but in terms of passing power, it's probably geared about right.

Anyhow, going back to the TS, it's a matter of preference -- SUV or sedan -- to replace the MB. Both are good rides, and the price and condition will dictate whether they're good buys. Good luck.

*jp923 - Mazda6 or Galant 240M or Cefiro A33? Medyo iba kasi category ng Camry sa Xtrail. Ano ba mas prefer mo? A big sedan or a CUV?

I guess yung "ageless" is the new classification of 2001 models and onwards.
