Overall this is still a very charming vehicle. Personally, I'm more attracted to the Pajero than the Explorer and even the Prado. Maybe it's the old-school classic vibe that draws me.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but given the choice between the two vehicles,
gas explorer or a gas prado, I'd go for the Toyota.

Both are not known to be frugal on FC so get the one more suited to your requirements. The Prado has Toyota's reliability and a more outdoor-oriented nature. The Explorer V6 Ecoboost is more of an urban cruiser SUV with the quickness of sporty midsize sedans.
Or you can be more patient and wait for the CX9 2.5L SkyActiv Turbo.

February 3rd, 2017 05:39 PM #71yes thanks guys,ive decided on the prado, less space, less tech, less discount, WHO CARES!haha. i was just surprised how big the discount was for the explorer and just sharing if anyone here might be interested on getting one. now choosing which color for the prado. white pearl or metallic grey--then again id have to change the title of the thread.
