Well... personally, I'd just get the Innova now. Why wait longer to spend extra on a vehicle that will cost extra to maintain and which will have a lower relative resale value (since it's going to be the 2.7 gas and not a diesel)? I know the Fort is pretty and all, and I'd heartily recommend it for any tough guy who wants a big imposing ride with some off-road capabilities and good on-road manners... but as a family car, it's really nowhere near as good as an Innova.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Kung yun talaga gusto ng wife mo. Innova V ka na lang talaga. Pero question lang ha. Bakit ayaw niya ng innova G na may bench seats kung sa fortuner naman, whose seats are the same ( bench-type ) nakapagsettle siya.

Pero siyempre, si kumander masusunod diyan. Innova V !

Diesels have higher resale than gas but that's probably bec. of demand rather than anything else.

But in the case of Toyota, D-4D has higher resale than VVT-i ???!!! Ironic isn't it? The VVT-i will probably outlast the D-4D (barring any fuel pump or injector problems).

hahaha. Yun nga eh. kapag Fortuner daw kasi maganda, maangas kaya kahit bench type okay sakanya. Naka "Fortuner" naman daw. Yup si kumander talaga masusunod. Parang gusto na nga niya na fort na lang eh pero hindi na daw kami kakain. Hahaha.

For TS, sometimes there's that feeling to consider na some sort of satisfaction when buying kaya although practically you may consider Innova but at the end of the day parang may kulang then go where your heart/wife's heart is. If you both love Fortuner go for it, just a little bit of compromise for some other expenses. Important is you really really love your unit. Both are really good but which one is really you want with satisfaction is up to you.

:eat:

Parang nakakalito nga priorities ng buyer.

-"family" vehicle kaso ayaw magpasakay ng marami.
-hirap sa budget kaso gusto ng SUV.

Ya. Why not the Ford Escape as suggested earlier? Maporma, meron dating, at di masakit sa bulsa ---all the criteria ninais ng TS.
