    Saw this in Speedlab's Facebook page just now. Apparently a stock XV only makes 80whp on the dyno. So I looked up if they had any runs with the stock Xpander and lo and behold, the Xpander actually makes 10whp more!

    Not sure how they measure hp/torque at the wheels on an AWD. And how did they get the 1:1 ratio on a CVT?

    AWD vehicles have higher drivetrain loss compared to RWD or FWD vehicles thus requiring higher power from the crank. However, AWD vehicles have better grip and offer better launch.

    Back to the dyno, blurry photos but looks like the readings were taken at different ratios.

    I think this is a CRV which is the same size and category as the Forester. The HRV is Honda's competitor for the XV.

    ^^^ The XV is based off a compact car platform, the Impreza. The BRV is based off a much smaller platform, the Brio. The HRV is based off the Jazz/City platform which is a subcompact.

    I gave my opinion about it at kung ano ang GUSTO ko. Im asking advise for XV vs. Rush / Expander yun lang kasi yun ang gusto ko na mga sasakyan.

    And Mas gusto ko ang XV...

    but when i did, there was no turning back.
    i can now do with a touch or swipe, what my old phone did very slowly, using at least 8 button presses.

    since you mentioned extra space isnt needed... the montero sport is a "small" suv with flood capability.. maybe after discounts its 100k cheaper than the fort

    Mine doc was 5110 with no antenna and backlit, i’ve used it from 2nd yr hs till 3rd year college...

    To TS, i hope you already have decided for XV.
    Because if i have the means to own and maintain the XV, i would definitely buy the XV.

    If in any case, i will choose xpander over rush...
    Simply because it suits me better than the rush... ayaw ko kasi lagi nagmamadali... ✌️

    well, he already professed to the XV in post #92 above. my guess is, he just wanted opinions regarding rush and expander, in case he failed to consider some considerations.
