Pati Fortuner rin. everywhere I go out and drive, hindi ko maiwasan makita ang Toyota Fortuner sa daan. Pero hindi rin sa pinaka top list.

This is for 2021 sales, not all time sales. Pag marami ka makita na 2021 model vehicles, yun ang top seller for 2021 mid year.

I think it was 2017 or 2018 wherein the Fortuner topped the sales chart beating the vios.
That is why the fortuner you see now is mostly the pre-facelifted model and not the current Facelifted Fortuner.

One reason kung bakit wala na siyang dating in personal, unlike when it was still fairly new lol. I mean super common na din kasi talaga siya although it's still one of the best looking in its segment.

i think the vios is still #1. at least, it was #1 in 2020, almost double the runner-up hilux.
it's cheaper and more affordable than the other toyota models. that it is a taxi model, also helps sell the darned thing. heh heh.
but it is not as noticeable, because it is significantly smaller than the others.

2016 innova to 2021 innova, i see a lot of them on my driving route in ncr.
they all look the same to me.

it would be interesting, if we could brake down the sales figures of the popular buys, according to region.
...san mabili ang vios.. ang hilux.. ang fortuner..

last week,
i saw a recent-purchase hilux with big tires, having a difficult time parking in the horsepital parking slot.
i can not imagine having to do that on a regular basis... in the workplace... in the mall... in any parking lot...

it's still an old model, but with "grill upgrade" ?

btw,
of the old innovae,
i still find the first gen (2005) tail light, the best-looking.
and the 2016+ innova has the worst-looking tail light. it kind of comes on to me as "designed by committee... on installment basis!".
