    ^hindi lang risky, overprice pa...
Yung mga price dyan sa olx mas mataas ng 50k-100k kumpara sa first owner na nagbebenta ng sasakyan.
Karamihan pa dun puro buy and sell at flooded..
Swertihan na lang kung may mapadpad na matinong seller ng car.

i might look also on some bank repos, oh well dilemmas on buying 2nd hand
i have had good experience buying from olx ads. i buy from owner-sellers who have the car in their name. lucky, i guess.

bayan sellers? there are good ones and there are bad ones. good luck to the buyers.

bank repos? read the fine lines, folks. the cost of paperworks that have to be accomplished, to have the ownership transfered to your name, might be "un-acceptable". them words "as-is-where-is" may absolve the seller of many responsibilities.

bottomline, buying used, is akin to gambling.

^ recently bought a used innova fron the repo lot of a bank. It is just a year old with 10k kms in the odo. With service records too.

So i guess it is still under warranty so that should be no problem

From what bank? I'm also looking for that kind of status, 1 year old with <= 10k mileage sedan. my budget is around 350-360k. Is Kia Rio Ex or Hyundai Accent a good car? Last month a bank personnel sent me a list of their repo cars but I don't have enough money then. I've noticed some rios and accents on that list around my budget now but I don't know if those are still available this month.

Did you encounter any problems regarding with the transfer of title or with whatsoever relevant docs for the car you've bought?

Good to know the unit is still covered by the warranty. Sorry to ask this Im zero knowledge when it comes to car but what are things covered by the warranty again?

    EastWest bank.

You can try your luck there. Sobra dami sedan dun, mostly toyota and their prices lower every week until mabenta. Tyagaan lang talaga maghanap ng magandang unit.

A broken DCT is costly to repair. If buying used, be sure to test drive the unit and check for maintenance records.

Sa FMC sa las pinas. Wala naman problem unit. Sariwa pa nga eh. Toyota warranty is still intact (with service receipts).

Brought a mechanic din to be sure

I'm planning to buy a pre-owned minivan, my choices are Honda Stepwagon, Honda Odyssey, Mitsubishi spacewagon, Mitsubishi Adventure, and Toyota Revo. What do you think is the best choice in terms of cost in maintenance and fuel consumption? Why is a 2004 Honda Odyssey a lot cheaper with a price tag of 160k, compared to a 1996 Mitsubishi Spacewagon with a price of 130k, or a 1994 Adventure with a price of 220k? I hope you can help me in deciding what's the best for a family van. Thanks ☺

Baka po imported ung 2004 Odyssey kaya mas mura. It has 2.2 engine kaya malamang guzzler pa. As for the 1996 SW, local ang model but still its 1.8 engine is a guzzler too esp the A/T. Maybe the 1994 Adventure is a diesel kaya mahal. Ang considering its age, 22 years old, baka abutan ka na ng end game nito. Ouch! The Stepwagon is also an import, right? Go for the Revo 1.8 or Spacewagon 1.8 kasi siguradong maraming pyesa ang mga ito. And choose the Manual tranny. Mas matipid.

Add ko lang: the Spacewagon is a MPV while the Revo and Adventure are AUVs. Odyssey is a mini van. Why not include Toyota Lite Ace from your choices? It has a 1.5 engine and ample interior space. And most of all, it is a Toyota!

Tutoo yan. Tsambahan pag pre owned irregardless kung ang seller ay ung owner or agent. Kahit pa magdala ka ng sariling mekaniko mo. [emoji15]

i'd stick to the AUVs... the adventure or the revo. diesel, if you don't want to spend too much on fuel expenses.
AUVs are everywhere. there should be no shortage of spare parts and knowledgeable mechanics.
the trick is, to find one that was pampered by its owner.

So im a total newb pag dating sa mga sasakyan, don't even know how to drive properly yet.

My wife just gave birth to a baby girl 4 months ago and we need a vehicle to go to batanggas (taga dun kasi si misis) at least once a month. Gagamitin ko narin pang everyday service to and from work sana. Problem is, yun daan sa house nila sa batanggas medyo rough road pa at malubak. Can anyone please suggest what vehicle i should get?

2nd hand lang po and budget is no more than 350k

Same here. My previous car was a 2004 xtrail. I think I was getting 5.5km/l (city driving). Isn't that the same as well for crv?
