suggest ko na ipon ka pa muna. better wait until you can afford something better than to buy now a car for 120k and find out later that you will need to shell out another 70-100k for an overhaul and suspension repairs. sorry ha, yun kasi makukuha mong car sa 120k budget e, ummm, not worth the effort you put in saving your money. sayang lang. para ka lang kumuha ng bato na ipupukpok mo sa ulo mo.

be practical. you do not need that kind of headache.

*Syur: Onga eh!!!

I suggest try the Nissan Sentra B13

Maganda yan. Pwede rin AE92 Corolla...

Sa totoo lang kasi, very limited ang choices mo. And kung bibile ka ngayon, make sure sa 120k na yan meron ka pa kaya i-shell out at least 50k on top of that para sa repairs & maintenance -- palit gulong, tune up, repairs here & there..

Among compact sedans, the Nissan Sentra has the lowest resale value. Get that one. Despite this, its actually a pretty good car. Its very dependable, easy and cheap to service and is quite thrifty on fuel too.

For your budget, you can get the B14 Sentra already. I'd say you can get upto around '97-'98 units with some negotiation. Your choice if you want the 1.4L EX Saloon or the 1.6L Super Saloon (I'd avoid the 1.3L carburetor FE). As a general rule with buying old cars, as much as possible, avoid automatics as they tend to consume more fuel and may be quite problematic if it was neglected.

On the contrary, I believe you can get problem-free 2nd hand cars, even in the lower end of the budget. It just takes some time, a good mechanic, and a prayer.

A lot of prayer and a very good mechanic.

At 120k, best you can do is a B14 Sentra. The carbureted FE isn't really that bad, though you have to clean out the carb very often (like every oil change). But best bet is the 1.4EX in manual. Just look for one that doesn't grind too badly in third gear.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
