Its better if you post this thread sa "car electronics". This thread will be moved there by the mods.

Medyo mahirap sagutin ang tanong mo kasi napaka broad.
Pano magetup ng sounds? Dalhin mo oto mo sa installer at pakabit mo sa kanila. Sabihin mo kung ano type mong music at budget mo. Ano ba gusto mo sq, spl or sql?

    1. Start ka sa HU (head unit) suggest Pioneer 4950 kumpleto na ito at ok tumunog. Budget mga 5000 pesos.
    2. Bili ka ng seperates para sa harap. May kasama na yan na crossover. Get the biggest that will fit in your stock speaker location. Try to listen to them before buying. Lots of choices available. From cheap Targas (ok na sound nito) to very expensive highend Focals and Peerless. Abot 22K.
    3. Get a 4 channel amp. Match it with your seps and subs power handling. Again lots of choices from cheap Taiwan amps to competition amps that will blow your wallet. Most amps are equipped with crossovers.
    4. Buy your sub and enclosure. Box is usually around 2-3K. Subs, price will again depend on size, brand and quality of the sub.
    5. Dont forget your wiring. Around 1-2K. Better thicker wires will give better sound.

You dont have to buy it all at the same time kung bitin ang budget.

ako din question na din since ala ako masyado alam sa set-up.

    1. sa seperates, may nakikita ako na speakers na hiwalay ang tweeters and 3-way speakers w/ built in tweeters, alin ang mas maganda?

    2. gusto ko sana nakatago yung subs, my ride has 2 extra speaker slots na i think 5 or 6" ang fit. nakakita naman ako subs that size na 300w lang. ok na ba yung 2pcs 5"/6" subs or mas maganda talaga yung mga 10"?

    3. sa amps, how many wats should i get?

    4. any shops recommended sa south para sa audio set-up?

    1. Yung nakahiwalay ang midrange sa tweeters ang seperates, yung built in ay tri-axial. Generally, masmaganda ang seperates pero depende ito sa brand and model at install.

    2. Baka mabitin ka sa 5 or 6".

    3. Match mo sa power requirements ng speakers. Ok lang kung sobra o kulang ng konti.

    1. ok, ang dami ko na kasi nakikita sony and pioneer na tri-axial, are they good or may alam po kayo na mas maganda?

    2. so if i'm going for the 10" or 12" ano po ba mas maganda? maliit yung box or malaki? when i asked 2 difft shops kasi magkaiba ang reply sakin, yung isa mas effective daw pag maliit lang yung box, the other kabaliktaran, the bigger the better daw

    3. ah ok, tama po ba tong naiisip kong idea? example seperates 130w each = 260 + 1200w sub = 1460w. so yung total W ang hahabulin kong amp na ikakabit ko sa kanya? are v12 amps good?

ty po sa reply sir, you're a big help.

Sir what should be the preferences? for sound quality or for boom boom!

    1. go for the separates, will make it easy to aim the components
2 10 or 12 on a sealed or ported box will do, just be sure to get the exact box calculation for the subs! 10's sounds good in a calculated .75cft sealed box! unless you are willing to sacrifice your cabin for the box!!! go for the 12's
3.what brand of drivers? does the watts indicated are in 4 ohms? driver performs good when it will be feed on its rated watts, and great on feed a little bit high! try to get a branded one if budget does not constrains V12 amp are over rated!!!
    hope this helps good luck!!!
