Question about rear speakers. Kailangan ba yung may tweeter din, or speaker only? Lahat kasi na nakikita kung coaxial speakers may tweeter na kasama.
Not advicable. First is the problem on where to mount the tweeter. Unless meron ka yun between-the-doors tweeter mounting ng mga more expensive cars (such as a Range Rover), where do you plan on mounting the separate tweet?
Second is that as long as there's a tweeter, agad nahahatak na yun imaging mo palikod. Normal folks won't probably care but the more enthusiast amongst the car audio crowd will frown upon a tweeter inclusion. Bass sounds are harder to locate kasi.. a very good example is that most computer 5.1 systems has the 6" subwoofer on your feet. But you don't hear it coming from there do you? Pero kung binababa mo yun front speakers mo (with usually either has a 2" full-range driver or a 1" tweeter), agad nahahatak yun sounds pababa.
Thanks bro. I have a six speaker factory setup with seps at the front. I'll just replace my stock speakers at the back with coaxial speakers for my rear passengers. Medyo bitin kasi ung sounds sa likod.
i have a kenwood 6033 head unit & focal ps165v seps. choosing between a) the ibus 2.1 active sub & using its built-in 2ch amp to power the seps or b) either the gladen m-line 75.4 or focal fd 4 350 or fpp 4100 & replacing the rear oem speakers w/ focal pc165. which is the lesser of two evils?![]()
Depends on what you want.
The cheaper option will be to get the Gladen 75.4 and getting a subwoofer + box.
Unless you know how small a 0.7cu.ft sealed box is, I doubt space constraints would trump your list of worries about it. That's roughly the size of a small microwave.
There's two things you need to know about the "lows". One is extension and the other is output. Slapping coaxials at the door will help you with output on the regions above the crossover (let's say your typical 80hz upwards) but it won't help you with extension.
I'd still recommend going for a subwoofer. Even a small sealed one will work wonders in giving you a low-end bass. Habol mo lang dyan is more of extension over anything else (as a bonus, one 8" is like two 6.5" in output). Something like an 8" Infinity subwoofer on a sealed box should cost you less than 7,000php and should go down according to how much the installer charges you for the box.
The reason why I'm not a fan of the iBus is that it's helluvah expensive item for the performance you're getting.

*jhnkvn, quick question...I have 5K. can you give me specs to maximize my money to have a good sound setup?![]()
Just buy any speaker that fits within that budget. Get the brand you think it best. Why think? Because there's not much differentiation on lower-end speaker units. There's only so much 5,000php can get you on material costs.
Mga sir need your advice, gusto ko lang po yung "surround" sound sa loob ng oto, anu po kayang sound set up recommended?
Btw my HU is pioneer deh5350ub, di rin po pala ako pede maglagay ng sub sa trunk kasi lagi po may laman sa likod.. TIA mga sir!
