hehe i thought the issue was as simple as installing the second amp right away. anyway, ill try to check my alternator kung kaya niya. otherwise, i'll have to stick to a one-amp setup.

Compare the SPL or decibels (dB) between the two. The higher the SPL or dB on the sub the more efficient and louder to play.

anyway, with your question, no doubt 2 12" kickers will have more boom boom power than 1 lanzar 15" provided you get the right amp for the 2 kickers.

RF or kicker amps can do justice for the 2 12" kickers... look at the RMS of the subs then look for the same or higher wattage for the amps.

if budget permits, L5 series have excellent boom boom power

In general, you start with a good head unit (HU). Pioneer is a good brand and bang for the buck. I'd spend most of the money on good speakers, seps and subs. Remember this is the only thing that you actually hear. Brand will depend on your budget and preference. Amps are essential if you want to get the most out of the system.

For setups, dont skimp on the install. Quality is 50% equipment and 50% install. Always listen or audition other systems before you buy. This way you know what you are looking for.

Normally, how much would it cost for the combination of boom boom and sound quality? Let's say my head unit is Pioneer, how much should I allot for the speakers, subs and amps?

How 'bout ranging 10-20K, will I get something good on that one already?

What model is your pioneer?

kung ok na yung, kasya na budget mo. kung budget meal, seps mga 2k (targa, macrom), 3k for sub and box (targa din), tapos amp mga 3k (v12). plus installation pa so dagdag ka ng mga 3k siguro. after that, sky is the limit na for piyesa.

*suntzuboy: yes. sa budget na 20k may magandang sound setup ka na. i think may swak na dun pioneer stereo, targa front speakers, targa 10" sub, v12 1507 amp, subwoofer box, wires and labor.

anyway, 20k is ok for the budget na.

mukang kaya sa RF punch na subs na ported sa budget sir then lanzar for the seps. actually madami pwede sa seps... mas maganda to audition for the most number of brands then choose. amp, JBL ka na.

for beginners setup, malaki na yung 20k. pero if you want to achieve really clear sound quality and a very powerful boom boom... it can shoot up to 100k.

if you want the clarity than the boom boom, then polk audio or focal can do the job. then go cheap on the subs pero if your more of a boom boom person... put emphasis on the subs. maybe L5 paired with kicker amp or RF amp can do it for you.

Any Amp will do! Just remember to match the sub's power rating with your Amp's wattage, keeping the Amp's normal output in the UPPER HALF of your sub's handling ability. Pag mahina ang Amp's mo, distortion or muddy sounds ang kalalabasan.

Ok yan! Just got a Ryan Q series seps this am. Wala akong masabi. Ang ganda. Bang for the buck talaga.

Kung kaya, go with the Q, better tweeter. Skip the coax for now and get an amp. BTW, sabi coming soon Ryan Audio amps.
