BlackOmen,
PBWY.
I just got some questions if you dont mind me asking.
1. Usually what type of music are you listening to?
2. Easy listening or hardcore listening?
3. May I know at around what range of budget to shoot in to?
4. What car to do the setup with? Compact, Sedan, AUV, SUV (Small, Mid, or Full size), Van?
The setup will depend on the answer of these questions.
As for shop, I always go to TEAM Cars at Banawe. Its at 30-A Banawe cor. P. Florentino St., QC. This shop is beside Department of Labor HQ near Quezon Ave. Their price is reasonable. Not taga. The owner, Kerwin, is very accomodating and will really give advises or suggestions if he see it not fit or not ok. Most important of all, malinis ang trabaho! That is why I keep on going back to that shop. They cater Alpine, Sony, Blaupunkt, Pioneer for HU. Alpine, Sony, Blaupunkt, Pioneer, DLS, Lightning Audio, JBL, Boston Acoustics for Speakers. Alpine, Sony, Blaupunkt, Pioneer, Lightning Audio, Kicker, Rockfort Fosgate, JBL for amps. and some other minor brands. For brands na wala sila, he can help source it up to wala talagang mahanap.
Will wait for your reply on my queries.
Thanks!

Hi nat2x,
PBWY!
Naginquire ako sa friend ko na nagbebenta at nag-i-install. Sabi nya ok naman ang quality ng NBN. Kaya lang the sound produced medyo mahina. So I guess its really up to the listener na. If ok na sa listener yung tunog then go na. But there are better brands. (No offend meant.)
Sa akin naman, actually nanghihinayang ako sa DLS mo if to be coupled with NBN. Kasi magandang speakers yung DLS.
Thanks!

sedan nga pala paglalagyan ko. cguro at most im willing to shell out 15k for that. kaya na kaya sa 15k yung set up?
tnx

Hi BlackOmen,
PBWY!
Hmmm...

EEQ
5-mode preset equalizer
1-mode custom preset equalizer
3-band parametric equalizer
Bass Boost
2-way crossover: HPF/LPF
3-mode selectable loudness
Selectable FIE (Front Image Enhancer)
Rotary Volume
Direct Sub Drive
1 RCA preout: selectable (rear/subwoofer)
OR
DEH-P5850MPH
Features:
Pure blue dot-matrix OEL (Organic EL) display
WAV file playback
iPod® adaptor ready
BMX (Bitmetric qualizer)
EEQ
5-mode preset equalizer
1-mode custom preset equalizer
3-band parametric equalizer
EQ-EX
2-way crossover: HPF/LPF
3-mode selectable loudness
Rotary Volume
Direct Sub Drive
2 RCA preouts: selectable (front + subwoofer / front + non-fading)
level indicator
I'll check on these two unit's price and will let you know.
For the speakers, a pair of 2 way na 6 1/2" (if 6" is the diameter to fit the front panel) seperates. Para mas solid ang tunog. Blaupunkt or JBL are ok for this.
For the subs naman, do you really want it now? Kasi I'll suggest na you go for HU and seps muna then future na idagdag ang subs kasi it will be nice that you spend the money for a good pair of seperates dahil yan yung talagang listening scores. Subs are for support ng lows lang. If your seps are good, it can produce a good low sound na din but of course not the low as low as a sub can do. Pero syempre, the better the seps the better the clarity also.Actually I will suggest more on a 4 channel amplifier (if i recall correctly and if the price didnt change, JBL is at around 6,000) nga e to power your seps as well as your rear speakers para it will be capable to produce sounds to it full capacity.
But if you really want the subs now, try the Blaupunk under the seat active sub or Pioneer's one. The Bazooka on the other hand, I got a feedback naman from a friend of mine. Nung narinig nya, hindi masyadong solid yung tunog. Medyo kalat. Although the bass is there naman.
This is just an opinion, I think if you add 5k more on the budget, you can have a good system with good brands. I will inquire the prices at the shop where I always go to and will let you know the price.
Glad to help and give you a contenting and delightful sound setup.
Hope this helps. Let me know.
Thanks!

tnx. ill hold off muna pag set up until i hear from you about the prices
.
2 kasi yung blaupunkt na nakita ko one is 6" na
2-way Coaxial loud speaker system Diameter 165mm
Max. Power 200 Watts
High sound pressure level 91 dB (2.83 V/m)
Frequency range 50 - 22,000 Hz
Impedance 4 Ohm

yung isa 6 1/2"
C 165 XL 2-Way component loudspeaker system with 165mm diameter, 120 watts max. power, a frequency range of 40-25 000 Hz and an installation depth of 55.9mm.
alin dyan ang mas ok. yung 6.5 120 watts lang yung 6 is 200 watts max
for the subs cguro nga d na muna ako magpapalagay. kung ok na din naman yung sounds ng ganyang set up baka di na ko mag sa subs
tnx
